I meant quiet for a godfather figure )

Though bieng a fan of the godfather trilogy and having a philosophicl stance on the movie, you are on the right track.

Yeah, it wouldn't be right to claim that Cryptonomex is the "father" of BitShares or Steem.  That is clearly Dan.
"Grandfather" didn't seem like much of a company slogan.
"Godfather" had a decent level of indirection and a nice ambiguous ring to it.
