Not a typo but still. The windmills portrayed on http://invictus.io/keyhotee.php are the windmills at Kinderdijk, Netherlands.

A more historically correct (and more relevant) photo would depict the windmills in La Mancha, Spain.

for example:

I'll get on that.

ADDED: Issued a pull request with the errors I've pointed out on this forum, fixed.
Awesome thanks!

http://invictus.io was created as a submission for the bounty, and was just supposed to just be a live shot of the repository code. I got a writer to do some quick copy out of my own pocket, so we would have something to fill the pages. Took a huge amount of time just to do the first page of http://protoshares.net/, so the copy needs to be refined more than just the typos and grammar. Don't have time to do school, the website, and the copy all at once.

Please note that the entire codebase is here:
https://github.com/super3/invictus.io

If you see obvious errors please submit a pull request with the fixes.

Also, you list some mining pools, but you've missed out a pts.beeeeer.org.

The http://protoshares.com/ site could more clearly state that (1) PTS holders are guaranteed to get 10 % in every DAC III releases and (2) are guaranteed 50% in the upcoming flagship product Bitshares. That's esentially what PTS are about. All the site says is: When a new DAC gets released all Protoshare holders automatically get a stake in the genesis block. Just import private keys, and enjoy your new coins.

With respect to having a wider audience understand the concepts and invest I would first describe what a DAC is in the most simply yet precise terms (before describing all the features). Something like: A DAC is a decentralized application/cooperation delivering a service by the means of a decentralised network and defined by an open source code. This definition helps people understand roughly what a DAC is about, meaning what its output (some service) and its input (network) and its structure (open source code) is. Just listing all  the feature that can be deducted from this basic understanding (distributed, autonomous, community) doesn't help understanding it.

To use it people need to trust that it will work which doesn't work without understanding it roughly at least. New investors and users want to understand the concept in simple terms - anything that can not be explained in relatively simple terms is not worth looking at further.

Someone else said that texting is a bit behind the technical pioneer work. I think the same and from my perspective the most important point it to explain the user how all the great promises made for example in the bitshares infographic are possible. Simplicity wins. Just promising great things might make it look too good and like a scam.

But I know you are working on it. Maybe the above is helpful to Brian.

Right, I'll stop talking about it. What's the hold up with fixing it?

Hello,

Wanted to point out any typos I see in invictus.io. The first one:

In http://www.invictus.io/funding-philosophy.php

"As an technologist" -> "As a technologist"
"capitol" -> "capital"

"Every day for 200 days, 10.000 stakes are mapped to the investors in Angelshares. Invest using either BitShares PTS or Bitcoin. After 200 days, 2 million stakes will be distributed" - > I'm just being a stickler here, but different countries use different ways of separating their thousands. I think if 10,000 is used, then at least it won't be confused with 10 <b>point</b> 000.

In http://www.invictus.io/bitshares.php:

"What innovations Bitcoin brought to fiat currencies, what innovations Bitshares will bring to equity and currency trading." - > This just reads awkwardly. I'm not certain it's a grammatically correct sentence.

We are painfully aware of this..... *shakes my head*    :'( :'( :'(
