Hi all,

I am in the following situation:

1. Around August 2015, I created a BitShares 1.0 wallet using (what was then) http://wallet.bitshares.org.
2. The only credentials I have are a 16-word passphrase and a public key.

My goal is to recover this account on BitShares 2.0. I do not have a .bin, .dat, .json credentials file from the original setup.

What I have done so far:

1. Downloaded 0.9.3c BitShares client, and have tried to use "wallet_create" with the passphrase to restore the account.
2. Tried to use the 16-word passphrase in BitShares 2.0 client.

Questions:

1. What is the most straightforward way to check the balance given a public key of the form BTS123456...?
2. Is it possible to recover the wallet at this point?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
