What makes you think the account doesn't exist? It has an ID, and it has keys - and you can't send anything to a non-existing account.

Thats good to know. My string of thoughts are based solely on assumptions at this point. Until I learn the facts. When I looked up the account on BTS explorer and saw the exact amount that I sent as the balance, and the only transaction on the full account history being my mistaken transaction.... I just assumed that.
I guess I could send a memo over and ask for them back... If a person really owns that account.

Have I just joined the lost my BTS forever Club? Cant seem to find anything pertaining to this problem. I find it interesting that you can even send your funds to an account that hasn't been created before and it will keep them...? Where? In some purgatory for mistakenly sent BTS?

Hows it going,

Very simple but annoying mistake: I accidentally Sent >5000 BTS to http://bitshares-explorer.io/#/accounts/spectrum
When it should be here: http://bitshares-explorer.io/#/accounts/inward-spectrum

Is it possible to get this premium name? It doesn't look like its in use.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Even if its a harsh reality check.

Thanks.
