The asset gets converted into BTS with the core exchange rate, and then the fee is paid directly with BTS. But the user does not see that.

Of course. The benefit to others is that they can use that asset now to pay for transaction fees

Thank you!

That means that there aren't any benefits for other users (other than the issuer of the asset) to add BTS to the fee pool, correct?

The asset fee pool allows that users can use your asset to pay transaction fees.

When someone pays with your asset for the fee what happens internally is:
The asset gets converted into BTS with the core exchange rate, and then the fee is paid directly with BTS. But the user does not see that.

So I have been exploring all the possibilities on the BTS network and I came across one thing that I cannot understand Entirely.

When I open a certain asset I have a 'Fund Asset Fee Pool' button. My question is, why would I fund this Fee Pool? Would I gain some benefit from it? (maybe claiming some of the fees paid to place orders by the users)?

Thank you in advance!
