I burned some too. Was not that difficult. You could do it with a blockchain.info account...

I burned too, when it was some 1.2k/BTC. Took me almost a week to figure it out and set it up. I used some of the BTC I had kept aside for AGS to do that.

At that time it didn't look like it would give a huge short term return. I was attracted to the fair distribution system as opposed to mastercoin and NXT.

I just saw this over on /r/bitcoin. Wondering if anyone could explain the differences and similarities this project shares with BTSX?

Did they really burn 1.7 million dollars???

I burned 80 dollars myself and it felt sooooooo good I can't tell you. But there's a rationale behind it (proof of burn). Do read the topic on bitcointalk.

Yep apparently they did, and the burners are attempting to sell XPC for 10 to 20 times the original price

That's what everyone is being led to believe.

Counterparty is just like Mastercoin, not really a direct competitor to BTS
Do not use this post as information for making any important decisions. The only agreements I ever make are informal and non-binding. Take the same precautions as when dealing with a compromised account, scammer, sockpuppet, etc.
