Here are questions regarding this worker from another thread (https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=29599.0).

where are the interviews & articles? "The wikipedia article of the BitShares Blockchain https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=BitShares&redirect=no currently links to the personal website of Daniel Larimer. This needs to be reworked and filled with proper content." PLEASE CHECK IT, IT STILL LINKS TO DANIEL LARIMER! LOL....THANKS.

Articles reviewed / created through the old marketing worker can be found here: https://github.com/bitshares/marketing/tree/master/publications.

The wikipedia article is quite tedious. There have been 3 attempts to get an article up (even before the worker, OpenLedger put efforts there), unfortunately all have been rejected. It is rather difficult to find an author to do a complete revamp of the content, I had one that canceled due to the scope, and two others interested that I had to reject due to lack of BitShares knowledge. Ultimately I will start drafting it myself, but I wanted to avoid that.

There is another worker seeking to publish four articles from professional content writers, so I saw no reason to enforce publication of another article. Just two weeks ago there was a interesting topic being raised, with a promising lead on an author that would be a good match for this worker. An article on #defi (Decentralized Finance). Ongoing effort. I understand it feels slow and I could be more efficient.

Also where is the 8btc.com interview link?

The first interview was with Gokhshtein (published here https://github.com/bitshares/marketing/tree/master/publications), the featured version of it has been used at several conferences as printed handouts already. Shortly afterwards, interviews were conducted by other parties with Ryan (core team) and Magnus (UI team). I was not able to find a willing or suitable party to conduct another interview for 8btc since then, but I have to admit I have not looked actively in the last 6 weeks. So the 8btc interview is not done, but will be done if an opportunity arises.

Please read the introduction of previous proposal "Marketing: Interviews, articles and visibility". If they do not have time/ability to delivery their "marketing" words on time, then find someone do it, please. DO NO WASTE ANY marketing fund again! The greatest talkers are always least doers. How can community trust those people/entities will delivery this proposal this time?

The proposal is explicitly inclusive towards the Community, the intention was never to do everything ourselves. This worker is also not done delivering.

Let me help you to read their bill/invoices carefully first. We had paid "3 Video Clips & Gokhshtein" for 59.22243k CNY. Have you heard any info about those videos or gokhshtein in our channels or social accounts?

The Gokhshtein interview was published in March, was advertised back then and has been used at several conferences already as a printout. It is a quite general introduction to BitShares and can easily be re-published and re-used for the next marketing push. The 3 Video clips that you mentioned are not published yet. The shooting is completed and we have a raw version of them. Our intention is to release them in anticipation of Decentralized conference with a social media campaign.

how about other goals from proposal? So that's call "We aim to change that by doing baby steps and are asking for funding to conduct interviews, craft articles and increase the general visibility and awareness of the BitShares Blockchain by fixing misinformation and deadlinks in common crypto-overview websites and centralized exchanges. (quote from proposal)", right?

The Visibility efforts are consolidated now in the marketing repository: https://github.com/bitshares/marketing/issues. Some could already be closed (Huobi for example), it takes surprisingly long time to iterate with CEXes and other informational websites to get content corrected. So this is also ongoing. Please note that nothing has been billed here so far.

If you are the manager of any marketing or pr team, please tell me the truth whether this "marketing" achievement is good or not. Thanks.

Can certainly be better. Would you be interested in joining any of those efforts? Also, please let me know if you have further questions or concerns.

We have curated publications done through the worker under

https://github.com/bitshares/marketing

and we intend to add other worker funded publications as well. For Visbility, we are tracking the communcations transparently under

https://github.com/bitshares/marketing/issues

Please feel free to add links to this repository and it will get action. In light of another worker being funded and the possible impact we have decided to re-define the optional article of this worker to be the production of short 10sec video clips promoting BitShares. Other ongoings are attempts to get feature articles out (e.g. Direct Debit), unfortunately first drafts are lacking quality and will likely need to be completely redone.

Dear BitShares Community,

we have carefully crafted a marketing proposal with limited budget to advance in that sections

https://www.bitshares.foundation/workers/2019-02-marketing-interviews-articles-and-visibility

Our aim is to have milestones that are tangible and measurable while being inclusive towards the community by allowing freelancer contributions. We believe we can leverage our extensive network into the BitShares Community  to come to profound decisions in the selection of external contributions.

Best regards,
  Blockchain Projects BV
