Why not make a core-token for the obits platform? Which would allow you to print bitUSD and other currencies for the platform.  Enter trading to these pairs on this platform. In parallel to make a centralized exchange with couples /obits /usd currency pair with platforms vpledger.
On a centralized exchange optional identification.
What's the point of playing this obits platform? To purchase access to the platform? Why do I need so many accesses? Who will pay for access if there are a huge number of free services!

I just have a few questions regarding VPLedger.
1.  Is there a specific example of a business use that you see VPLedger being a solution for?
2.  Are there any business's that are already planning on integrating with VPLedger?
3.  What is involved with the KYC?  Are there any regions that are excluded form using this service?
4.  Openledger DEX advertises being a decentralized exchange with no KYC.  Does VPL interoperate with Openledger DEX at all?
5.  Does VPL bring any value to Obits holders?  If it does, will Obits holders need to go through the KYC process?

I have not found time to read the WP yet, so what is the blockchain technology going to be used?

To Ronny and the OpenLedger ApS Team I say, "carpe diem." Quite an ambitious project to say the least. I've only read through the introductory PDF once and all the bits have yet to fully settle in. The implementation details are left out, so I look forward reading more details about the adaptation of the Graphene Toolkit for use as a private blockchain platform incorporating KYC requirements.
