Thank you for the attention to the matter Bo. Hopefully BTER can now sort out exactly where my PTS is as well.

For simplicity sake we have given btc38.com and bter.com the following instructions:

1) Stop all PTS deposits and withdraws from 08:00 PM GMT on Feb 28th  until 04:00 AM GMT March 4
2) Clone their PTS depositors balances into new BTS balances
3) Multiply BTS balance by   2M / PTS_MONEY_SUPPLY at the snapshot block
4) Do not allow withdraws of BTS from their accounts until we have passed the testing stage.

After I talked to both CEOs of bter.com and btc38.com, they would like to work with us.

Thank you all.

The deadline passed without the transaction going through. I will contact them tomorrow and ask them to make good on their promise of awarding the BTS XT.

@Sumantso

That is good news from BTER, unfortunately, they have not given me such a response yet, but at least that makes feel a bit better.

I only have support@bter.com. Are you communicating with the same email? Or do you have another?

Even if they don't make good on this promise - the entire fiasco is baffling - I am hopeful the community/Bytemaster will decide to award the relevant BTSXT to us if we provide evidence. It will be easy to see what the relevant Bter wallets are as they will be inputs in the transaction (when they eventually happen).

Still, it doesn't put me in a good mood leading up to the big deadline.

I could not agree more. My excitement turned to anxiety today. However, it is certainly an issue such as this where Invictus can prove to us the advantage of what is backing their coin and hope they can provide a solution.

I have about 5 emails in to BTER today with no response.

I was in the same situation, except when I made the withdrawal from Bter  It showed in my local wallet almost instantly, unconfirmed of course.
But now after 22 Hours everything is fine for me,  hope everything is fine for you too.

After 13 Hours I get 1 confirmation,
then after 4 more hours I get 3 more confirmations,
and now  after 22 Hours the transaction have 15 confirmations.

Everything is fine for me   :D
Checking the TxID in coinplorer,  looks like the delay was because bter didn't pay any transaction fee, and I guess that is the reason because the PTS network take too much time to process it.

Good luck for everyone in this PTS Snapshot.

so when you do listtransactions does it show up in your list?

if not, do you have all the latest blocks?

No, the transaction does not show up in my transaction list in my wallet, and my wallet is "up to date". Still no balance in BTER and no response from them either.

If it doesn't even show up in wallet at all then that means they haven't broadcast it (or broadcast some malformed transaction).

PTS allows fees of 0 for high priority transactions and also when block size is <10KB, I think.  (priority is <*27KB?).

it should at least show up

I have the same problem, contacted the support and got response pretty fast, if the PTS won't arrive in time, they will give me the resulting BTS to my account at BTER (as they stated will happen for everyone with PTS there).
It's not gone from their account if it's not confirmed TX.

Same problem. I contacted them and they said similar - if the transaction doesn't go through before deadline (as can be verified from blockchain), they say they will credit the BTS even though your PTS balance won't show that PTS. I asked this point explicitly and they confirmed.

Only problem for me, though is that I sent to Cryptsy from Bter (I sent yesterday and didn't access to local wallet and wanted to go to sleep). So, I am hoping it doesn't go through now coz if it does, there is not enough time to confirm and withdraw. The PTS I withdrew from Cryptsy a few hours back to my wallet still has got only 1 confirm.

however it is probably more accurate to believe that there is a "run" on PTS at these exchanges and they simply do not have the coin in reserve, which if true is really a problem...at least for today.

I think that too.
Probably because almost every one is trying to get PTS to their wallets, bter is starving for PTS.

But how they can do transactions to our wallets (and have the TxID) with out having the PTS?,  If I try to do a transaction from a wallet with 0 funds, the wallet program don't even allow try it.
They do not need transactions, they will just claim BTS for all PTS on exchange (in their own wallet) and distribute it among PTS balance holders as coins on balance, not as real coins. Apparently you will then be able to withdraw BTS to your local wallet or leave it on the exchange.

That would be fine if the PTS was in my account on BTER, but I withdrew and received confirmation through a TxID from BTER, however there is no sign of it in my PTS wallet. So, no PTS balance in BTER and no PTS in my local wallet. Now, I can not even see my PTS withdraw history on BTER as they have suspended PTS trading. BTER has not responded to my emails yet.
