The development of IOUs requires an ecosystem. To build an ecosystem, you must first be a core and have core competitiveness; then, you must have funds to pay for the cost of cooperation between projects in the cryptocurrency circle.

The core competitiveness of BitShares is the concept of gateway. There is still a lot of room for improvement in the gateway, and it needs supporting services: cross-chain, compliant stablecoins, and third-party custody of assets.

Why does Ethereum not have the concept of gateway? Because Ethereum is based on Swap and abandons the concept of decentralized exchanges.

Does decentralized exchange have growth prospects? I think the future opportunity lies in RWA.

Transaction/operation fees are managed by the committee and sure they can be changed when needed. At the moment I personally don't think we need to change the fees.

IOU trading fees are managed by the asset issuers and they decide whether and when to change.

Hello, When IOUs are issued on the blockchain, a group of potential users who can trade automatically become users of the entire BitShares system. This expands the number of users from a small group of exchanges to a larger community, increasing the liquidity and utility of the system.

Will there be a change in fees as users increase?
