Hi, I'm new to this. Started today :)

I did not recieve any PTS after mining today. Did I miss something? PjMSEXjTZRrwtmjFKTzdAPxL6T5bv52V2u

My pool pays out daily, so if you started today you will not see your first payment until tomorrow morning (16 hours from now).

So, I am new to mining in general. Would anybody be willing to explain to me why it would not be more profitable to switch to YPool? If they find more blocks than us, wouldn't it be more profitable to mine there?

I am not thinking of hopping pools, I am just trying to understand :)

Ypool is damaging the network by not including transactions in blocks.

Your profit-per-hash should be about the same on all pool, the only benefit to being on a larger pool is lower variance.

Ypool was charging 6% last time I checked, have they reduced it?

I believe my pool has lower latency than their pool which should result in fewer stale shares and slightly better pool performance than hash-rate alone would suggest.

Ypool is effectively 51% attacking the network right now, please use someone else such as beeer or my pool.

Fees from my pool go to fund development of BitShares and add value to PTS.   So support the home team rather than allowing some outsider to rake in all the profits while harming the network.

i'm getting around 100 hpm. my processor usage is 97% but my ram usage is only 30%.

i'm using 32 threads on single instance because if i use more instaces the share rate decreases.

anyway i could put my full extent of my ram to use and earn somemore extra dimes  ::)

the payment has not arrived . Poy5gvrCpofiAzyB6gcLxLxLEXatsviNux  :-[

Have no fear... long propagation delays are here!

I am going to look into sendtomany because I have also not received my payment though I know I sent it :)

Code: [Select]
{"jsonrpc": "1.0", "id":"1", "method": "sendtoaddress", "params": ["Poy5gvrCpofiAzyB6gcLxLxLEXatsviNUx",49.354] }
{
    "result": "676e68d2950ec16af205e8bf147104a2ea17f679ab55d81a1fac163893303758",
    "error": "null",
    "id": "1"
}

The slow confirmation times appear to be the result of one or more miners having adopted a policy of refusing to include more than one transaction per block.  See here:

http://btsblock.com/chain/ProtoShares

Ypool (the largest pool) appears to be one the bad actors.  If you compare block numbers from their stats page to the blockchain explorer, it looks like all of ypool's blocks are only including 1 transaction at most.

Thus, everyone trying to send PTS through the network is having to wait until someone else (such as the beeeeer pool) find a block, at which point a bunch of transactions finally get included in a block.

Why would they refuse transactions?

I hadn't realized this was going on, but was noticing that most of my transactions took 2-4 blocks before getting confirmed, even though I paid the fees.  At least now I know why that was happening.

maybe i don't understand this : earned(est) =  Mature + Immature   ?
if i have:     earned(est) 0.4 Mature earned(est) 0.25  .Payout will be 0.65 ?
My miners allways run!

No, Payout will be 0.4

Earned = Mature + Immature

where then disappear :0.25 pts ?

.25 PTS is PART OF the 0.4 PTS it didn't disappear.
