Will the source (via github)?

Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

sudo apt-get update && apt-cache show libc6-dev | grep -E 'Package|Version'
Reading package lists... Done
Version: 2.15-0ubuntu10.5
Package: libc6-dev
Version: 2.15-0ubuntu10

2.17 too new for all stable Linux

Thanks.

tried the linux version in a VM,allocated full cores, 2GB RAM running for past 45min but HPM still 0
jhprotominer generated shares, tested for 1 day.
old version of coyote miner showed same behaviour, but was OK running natively.
any idea what is the problem?

0% is up on my windows miner too, tripled my hpm bytemaster, time to shop around for another machine

[Edit] Wait, maybe it stays at 0% until we find a block and it pays? makes sense.

Not sure if I'm asking the right question but how many pool shares are needed to complete a Block or I think I should be asking is; how many shares are in a block?

Thanks.

bytemaster, it works perfectly on every machine but the one that's running debian 7 x64 and has a xeon cpu
you previous miners ran on this machine

What is the error?

I forgot to explain it so I edited my previous post

I run the miner with no arguments, it prints "performing benchmark" then, "illegal instruction" then it quits
