Ok, they finally landed. This seems strange to me since people use cold storage, but the answer seemed to be updating the nodes on the receiving wallet?

Saying that i've not done any cold storage does that leave coins in limbo?

hmmmmmmm. Just plugged a monitor into the minor with that 123 pts wallet and it still in limbo as i updated b4 it has 4 conformations but its been like that for a day. I tried adding (addnode 94.23.215.174 add) ass recommended along with as many other nodes as i could find but still stuck?

Any ideas?

check the block numbers on both clients to see if they match.

How long should it take to sync 2 days with 8 connections? I also have a transaction in limbo? client version v0.8.5.0-unk-beta.

It takes about 30 seconds for my clients to sync.

Well Done, good mining  8)

I was brokering a sale, it was actually incoming from my largest single miner - his production for the day on its way to a single buyer.

That was not the whole order.  I think the price was at .0045 at the time.

I did well but didn't end up with as many PTS as I want.

I would like to mention that said miner was using my pool :)

Before you say the price of PTS is too high, take a look at theThe Reason.  Protoshares are an entirely new type of Cryptocurrency, one that pays to hold.

I had the same thing happen to me with my largest single tx (10k PTS) - It was right after the fork and I saw that it was confirmed on the block explorer but hours ticked by without it pinging my client.   Eventually figured out I had to add a good node with bytemasters help, insanely stressful until resolved as the pts were to fill a large prepayed order.

This happened to me today with a 1K+ transaction...  it took 30 minutes to show up in the other wallet.

i'd caution you to always verify block numbers on your clients, there was a fork earlier and some people haven't caught on.

good to hear your coins are there though.

if you are feeling generous, my pts address is in my sig

Hi
Thanks for your reply, i'm not exactly sure what you are showing me, however i went to the pc to see if the figures you were showing me corresponded to transactions in that wallet. The 123pts transfer now has 4 from 6 conformations so it seems to be going through?

Why would it sit there for a day, why did the 1pts transfer go immediately and all others i have sent?

Im still learning so would appreciate the explanation

bad nodes maybe?

first thing I do after starting my wallet:

addnode 94.23.215.174 add  works for me all the time :)

Hi All
As this is my first post i should introduce my self. I've been following bytemaster for a few months and love the concept. I started mining 6 hrs after the start and since pools have been necessary i've been feverishly switching between pools as the technology changes and crashes!

Ok, so now my problem!
I made a transaction 62cc601875250004ec7d1be2280e8e9fe8e737f8f38ec13b4e43ca5423d03b97-000 on the 14th for 123pts from one of my wallets to another but it is stuck with 0 conformations and a ? by the side of it. I had made successfull transactions between the wallets previously and to test today i sent 1 pts 4ac99125200bf5653b44a52b2b3e221d8b71c2d6f938cde72bad8ae3765ecc69-000 between the same two wallets and got a conformation within a few seconds.

Can any one explain what has happened, why? and what i have to do.
Thanks in anticipation
