As you mention that we would be able to update the asset's properties after hard fork?  could you please let me know if it is possible to update Asset now?

I properly created an asset. But in some case of the name, i would like to change the display name as well as the description. I have tried to figure out the way to change but not action on the UI or the console. Is it possible to change the asset name after it is created???

Not currently possible but we may add this. I've noted it: https://github.com/BitShares/bitshares_toolkit/issues/549
