I am pretty sure this is GUI related ... I saw it a few times too, that the transaction list is not properly refreshed .. :(

Yes this is the 0.4.16 version and it is synchronized, I just transfert btsx from bter to my wallet, I registered my account then I click on the button "update vote" I confirmed that I will pay 0.5 BTSX as fees but will get all my BTSX back.

But still nothing...

type on the console the command:

wallet_rescan_blockchain

PS are you running delegates?

Help !

I click on that button "vote" then all my BTSX disappeared, i thought they would have disapeared for few blocks, but I still don't have my BTSX back.

I am pretty worried...

Make sure that your use 0.4.16 and your client synchronized with the network:

Ui .. that is a longer talk .. maybe you start at the wiki over here
http://wiki.bitshares.org/index.php/DPOS
to familiarize yourself about Delegated Proof of Stake ..

basically you can vote for trusted friends ... whoever has enough votes is allowed to produce the blocks ..
if your friend fucks with the network .. he will be quickly "down voted" ... giving the stakeholders the control over the network instead of miner pool operators

I misunderstand the point of this BTW.  How does this benefit the end user?
You vote for delegates that you trust so that they can participate in securing the network, essentially performing the same role as miners do in Bitcoin, producing blocks. There's a subforum devoted to delegates where they (we) introduce themselves and make a case for why you should vote for them.

The benefit for you is a secure network, and since your stake is quite big, it's even more important that you vote ;) The more people participate in voting, the better the security of the network because it becomes harder and harder for a big stakeholder to vote in "nefarious" delegates.

oh .. there use to be a VOTE button somewhere .. seems I am mistaken ..

your steps:

- vote for your favorite delegates .. (as much as you want)
- transfer all your money back to yourself ..
- done
