linux wallet can't update vote or transfer to self

[j00p34]

After rebuilding database, everything started to work again.

bitshares-x.info doesn't seem to suggest the Linux option, only the centralised OS ::)

I wonder then OP should be looking to
https://github.com/dacsunlimited/bitsharesx/releases
with build instructions from
http://wiki.bitshares.org/index.php/BuildInstructionsBitSharesX

[xeroc]

the update button is for the GUI only .. and cannot update the core .. you need to download the bitshares-x client from bitshares-x.info manually

known issue

[j00p34]

I've been trying update vote button but nothing happens. Also transferring to myself is not working. Is there anything special I would have to do to get this working or can this be a bug?
Ubuntu 14.04.1
bitsharesx latest build from github

Any information would be appreciated
