BitShares Promo Video Request
« on: November 03, 2014, 01:54:50 PM »

I'd like to see an Apple-esque promo video capturing the essence of what BitShares is. The focus should be on what is unique about BitShares: company metaphor and market pegged assets. Starring Dan, Stan and Toast. I could really use something like this in my upcoming advertising campaign.

I'm envisioning it being something like this. Talk about company metaphor and market pegged assets.

Here is what's needed: raw footage of Dan, Stan and Nickolai talking about the company metaphor and market pegged assets. If this is done, the community will edit it and handle the rest.

There is absolutely no reason our community should be so small. The tech and the vision here are world class. It's just not being conveyed in any meaningful way. Etherium has had lots of success attracting evangelists this way: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Clw-qf1sUZg#t=31

You realise how expensive that video was, right?
Just by watching it you can imagine how many hours of development the video itself costs.
Similarly to this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=shirth1OjRE .
These are one of the finest advertisement + informative videos ever made.
I doubt there are sufficient resources to accomplish something remotely resembling the quality of such video.
You'll have to lower the bar a bit.

PS: I'm not an apple fan but the videos in question are pretty well made.

I mean same format. Dan talking about company on a blockchain, cut away to Nickolia talking about market pegged assets, cut away and have Stan talking about something else. I don't literally mean copy the Apple video with special effects and stuff...
