Vato_, actually the logo and symbol appear to be "Labeled for reuse with modification" - even commercially. If you do an advanced Google image search for BitShares and select for Usage Rights: free to use, share or modify, even commercially... these results appear

for those not knowing cass ... he is the lead designer and contractor of I3 .. so when he says it's ok .. then it definitely is :)
