How can we tell which delegates have unique owners?

Or where multiple delegates are owned by a single person. Is there a way to determine this?

Not 100% for sure.  Although if you have spent enough time interacting with the forum and the client you can be reasonably certain.  If you're concerned I would suggest you dig through the forum.  You might need to learn chinese.

Alternately you could take the word of someone you trust that has already done that legwork.

There is no way to reliably determine this with just the information on the blockchain.

Best you can do is ask (and trust) the delegates themselves.

vato_ created a delegate report over here:

there's a table which states how has several delegates IIRC
Give BitShares a try! Use the http://testnet.bitshares.eu provided by http://bitshares.eu powered by ChainSquad GmbH

Good. It would be better if we have more info about the candidates. When we vote we do not just look at top 101.

By the way it's hard to access that site from China..

Why does it matter? As long as the delegate has a good reputation why should we care how many people own it?

Im still trying to work out the best way to vote, but feel its better not to concentrate power too much in the hands of a single person or group that may happen to own many delegates. Now you mention it, it would be good to organise information on reputations too, because it takes forever to become familiar with even a handful of delegates.
