Yes, you should change the poll from a "yes or no" no sharedropping to a list of distribution methods, with sharedropping as one of them.

Distributing to who exactly?

You become part of this community by supporting it, either by buying in or working for BTS. Why is "distribution" needed?

I voted yes.

There's definitely value in sharedropping some initial amount to a wide, supportive, target demographic.

Part of the value of a DAC comes from being sufficiently decentralised & sharedropping is a great way to do that.

However once the DAC has already established a value, I'm not a big fan of dropping more shares as all the evidence points to it generally creating downward pressure at that point in the crypto space.

With a product like BitAssets though it could be different & I don't mind small highly targeted BitAsset Drops if the results are closely monitored and analysed before expanding it.

I think arhag made a point about sharedropping earlier in another thread that makes sense.

Drop on those that show interest in your offer, not just an entire chain. Odds are good that you will end up with a ton of dumpers and a handful of holders and maybe even less participants. Sharedropping based on an entire blockchain seems highly inefficient in it's goal otherwise.

Be good to individuals from other blockchains that are good to you.
