Remove yunbi delegates
« on: March 07, 2015, 11:38:10 PM »

They have been good supporters, but there is no need to keep their delegates in. Essentially we are now paying them to list BTS pairs, while other altcoins seemingly don't have to do so.

They even don't answer anymore about what they do except listing the pairs https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=13233.msg191055#msg191055

As an exchange, is it able to use its users' fund for voting?

unfortunatelly yes .. we had a discussion about this few months back .. consensus was that exchanges should at least tell their costumers that they are voting and for whom they vote .. better would be to give their costumers a choice for their voting stake .. yunbi does neither .. still ..

I begin to think, we should be more patient, cause personally believe yunbi is bringing much more value to our ecosystem then consumes due their delegate pays!

Certainly they're bringing value, but they're an exchange: attracting traders is their business whether we pay them to or not.

Delegate pay should be reserved for paying people to do things that are otherwise not in their best interest, but are in ours.

I think some spring cleaning is required. Anyone monitoring the other delegates?

Good idea .. lets take this as a reason the reevaluate all the delegates but at least the 100% delegates .. want to do this for some time now
