I am not sure if the site administrator (bitsharesblocks.com) realizes this is so, but accessing over Tor yields a blank page, even after filling Cloudflare's stinky captcha.

Please consider fixing the webserver configuration and allow Tor users to reach the site.. thanks.
Any tips on what needs to be done? I have no experience with tor whatsoever..

Are you running some sort of blacklist software?

It might be Cloudflare-related, though this is a new problem.. usually it's just the annoying captcha, a site loading up blank is new.

Nope. I did notice there was an issue recently though, even on a plain connection.  If the site loaded for you with no data it was most likely the same problem. I believe it was due to the node.js server running out of file descriptors to handle an increasing amount of connections. I increased this ten-fold this morning which fixed the problem for me.

You found your way into crypto in general and into the BitShares community in particular .. I'd say you are rather lucky .. no matter what your connection says :D
Give BitShares a try! Use the http://testnet.bitshares.eu provided by http://bitshares.eu powered by ChainSquad GmbH

Still having the same issue. Tried to load the site 5 times with tor, 0% success rate (stuck @ "Loading" with blue thing spinning)

Tried 5 times without tor, 100% success rate.

I have the exact same issue.

The site won't load via tor.

Cloudfare is so annoying. Oh you wanted to view this page AGAIN after being idle for 2 minutes? Better try this impossibly blurry captcha.

Tor browsers turn off javascript so if your site doesn't degrade gracefully then that might be the problem although I wouldn't expect those symptoms.

This is already with JS on - bitsharesblocks won't work without, and at any rate, cloudflares' captchas are horrendous without javascript.. there are no words for how much tor users hate cloudflare :) "Attention Required!" on 80% of new tabs these days.. I digress.

I gave up on the captcha.  I could try and guess it easily enough, but there was something about a confirmation code which I could never figure out since everything else was in a foreign language. (and it wasn't that important to me)

I remember on Dan talking about switching to websockets.  If the lightweight wallet backends use websockets they're going to need to pay big $$ to use cloudflare. (Not that bitsharesblocks is the lightweight wallet.. but figured I'd mention that here)
