Is it possible to destroy an asset on my balance?
« on: May 18, 2015, 02:39:33 PM »

I have a few assets on my balance that are for test purpose, like TESTNOTE.3 from bitshares music. Is it possible to destroy them?

Sure ... you can generate a new address e.g. with the html wallet on delegate.xeroc.org and send them there... or you just sens them to the issuer, angel .. or me :D
Give BitShares a try! Use the http://testnet.bitshares.eu provided by http://bitshares.eu powered by ChainSquad GmbH

If you want to destroy an asset just send it to an address that noone knows the private key for.
Instead of actual address you can write some meaningful words.

There is a "burn" operation you should be able to access in the GUI, if not take a look at the "wallet_burn" command.
