Mac functionality is being pulled back.  Fair enough.  Where can I find instructions to import my funds into the light wallet version?

The full node use the Qt wallet and had some unresolved issues so we took it down.
Will it return at any point in time?

Unlikely.  To expensive to maintain and support.  No one likes a buggy wallet.
Agreed. Light wallet for normal users, witness node + light wallet for advanced users.

I downloaded 2.15.286 and was never able to get it to work.  It appears now it has been removed.  Is there any discussion around this?

I am still unable to connect to the new network.
