Safe to delete the log files?
« on: August 28, 2014, 08:42:27 PM »

Is it safe to delete the content of this folder?
C:\Users\[UserName]\AppData\Roaming\BitShares X\logs

On my machine (Windows 7) it has grown up to 9 GB after a couple of days of using the wallet.
(And maybe this is the reason for some of the crashes - people usually don't have this much space on their system drive)

Yes, safe to delete them.

Can't be the reason for crashing if there is not enough space on disk?
(I didn't happen to me but for smaller disks it might be an issue)

Once there is not enough space left to store the blockchain (increases over time) then the client will crash for sure!
Give BitShares a try! Use the http://testnet.bitshares.eu provided by http://bitshares.eu powered by ChainSquad GmbH
