I was extolling the wonders of BitsharesX to a friend and she asked me a question that I couldn't answer with complete confidence, specifically, "how private the entire platform can be for an end user?"

I can answer that question (more or less) for other, more typical, crytocurrencies but BitsharesX is obviously an altogether different beast. I've been so stoked on the trading platform I haven't even stopped to think if it is possible to find myself or another trader via activity on the platform somehow.

Anyone have any thoughts on the anonymity issue in regards to the BTSX platform?

Completely not private - if you need your money 'privately stolen' search the web for jl777....
Lack of arbitrage is the problem, isn't it. And this 'should' solves it.

Well TITAN appears to make BTSX anonymous, but if people start using accounts and keyotee often, with knowledge of several purchases you could probably find out who or where the person is. You've just got to be aware and carefule when giving away your personal identification away on the internet. Unless i'm mistaken?

Same advise as above:

Completely not private (i.e. transparent) - if you need your money 'privately stolen' search the web for jl777....

I am still a little confused about one of BMs replies in another thread saying that titan does not use change addresses ..

There are several issues you need to consider when talking about privacy .. whenever you transfer funds, you will need to have an INPUT to your transaction. That input possible has an higher amount of funds in it than you want to transfer .. that tells the merchant how much money you AT LEAST have left in your wallet .. nothing else .. then there is the possibility that the OUTPUT is bigger than your inputs and the transaction thus has to join some of your OUTPUTS .. same issue here .. except that the merchant can now link two or more transaction to you.

Those are the only concerns I have here ..

There are also concerns when I comes to voting delegates

Yes, this guy is the answer for all of your worries:

He will make your transactions anonymous using his 'teleport',
and will still your money in plain site using 'SuperNet'

Any other request shouldn't be too hard for him, it seams.

Yes, TITAN will make it much harder to trace the transactions back to the owner. However it is possible for a determined and skilled person to trace the obfuscated  transactions and link them up. In other words, it is not totally anonymous.
