Never forget that BitShares is code + community. Without either one you get nothing. If BitShares evolved into something that went against our principals (and I don't for a nanosecond believe that Dan or Stan would ever be the architects of such a change) then the community can either fire dev delegates and replace or fork the BitShares code.
The community of people who value BitShares for it's integrity will grow. How could it be otherwise?

Where do you think all the remaining capital will go? Crypto in general, which means Bitshares, is poised for a monumental influx of capital. Only total psychopaths could possibly be involved in such a grubby, base, sick, linear, retarded and limited machination. My friends it doesn't get much more ' Lord of the Rings' than this. The blockchain protocol will be playing the part of the ring. Luckily for us, our ring is endlessly replicating and evolving. It also allows us to use it and produce benevolent outcomes rather than purely evil. In order to put these psychos to bed permanently, we'll need every ounce of resolve and ingenuity we can muster.
