less talk about what others did not do, and more about what could be done is what is needed now.

@everyone - i think i read somewhere that Yunbi (an exchange?) is voting against Workers and having their heavy buddies do the same. so, let's either A) disable Yunbi in the web wallet, and/or B) do the same thing with CCEDK/OL, Blocktrades and MetaExchange voting FOR the Workers. Fight fire with fire and we will never have to worry about a cheating exchange again. Light'em up!
You've probably read it in this 245 replies long thread here ;p  :

http://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=22082.0

That's a real problem, BTS has been made to have funds available to grow. This one of the best thing we have, we should think how o best allocate these fund and not stop spend. Come on anti dilution community, don't you want to have your money x 100 in 3 years ?

Start a war with exchanges is very dangerous, if someone could persuade  Poloniex and BTC38 to give their voting power to someone, it would be the end of BitShares democracy.

I have a suggestion. Someone with a confidence voice, speaking a good english make a quick video showing how to vote in the wallet. (That could be done in an hour). While showing how to vote,  he explain why voting for a proxy like "xerox" who support workers is the best way of keeping BitShares in the path of success and grow the investment in BTS of everyone . These daily funds we have are there to develop BitShares. The sell pressure is caused mainly by the merger. Without workers, we will loose our competitive advantage in 6 months, bla bla bla
The "bla bla bla" should be all the good reasons we've seen in the 245 replies in the thread.

Once the video is done, every one here start sending transactions of 0.01 BTS with a quick message in the memo and the link to the video to the big and small whales who are not voting.

Here are a few one :

mcxcwbts 11,107,976
goldsix 6,050,401
ubris 6,000,000
miso69 4,833,076
lambda1 4,063,036
deepweb 2,974,341
jaehyuk 3,876,514
andrewmiao 3,786,080
tomliu 3,719,558
go-danny-go 3,533,157
mike-primorac 3,479,329
bts-ats8088 3,778,135
freggieleggie 1 3,401,362
brentallsop 3,247,576
zy360 2,891,468
bts-fruitsalad 2,804,446
operations.hyperetas 2,626,603
rand1 2,586,347
thread 2,553,716
hardfork 2 2,545,413

Which is 76,201,801 BTS not voting.

You can have fun and find more here and using CryptoFresh to check their voting :

http://richlist.btsgame.org/#/richlist/bts

I'm sure if this video is well made and only 10 of us would send these transactions/reminder to vote, we could made a big difference ! Also we would have a weapon for these kind of situations. If you look for more ppl who don't vote, you'll find easily more than 76 million BTS. In about a couple of hours, I could find 100-150 millions.

I'm not able to do the video myself with my terrible Belgian accent and my poor english. Maybe it could be the association between a nice voice like fuzzy and a good script from one of our best mind in here.

We just need one or two volunteers to make this short video ( 1-2 min max ) and we can start as a community, to show how organised we can be and how we solve big problems with simple solutions.

It's dangerous to start an exchange war because the one camp who will have Poloniex, will be the winner.

This will be so awsome, i feel like a big rock is finally of my back. It's so great!

Agreed. So many folks have been complaining that the captain of the ship keeps getting sidetracked and then never finishes a feature to shareholders expectations. So, I think the friday mumbles could now be moderated by the Beyond Bitcoin team but the guests can be those who want to talk about their projects. No more perception of a top-down structure (i have even seen Bitshares referred to as central banking 2.0).

I had a nice conversation with BM, Stan, Onceupon and Thom yesterday on mumble after the official mumble. We have a very solid plan to move Bitshares forward. Blinded transactions, recurring and scheduled payments, bond market, liquidity bots and market makers, margin trading, free transactions, Smartcoins POS integrations, a 2nd mobile wallet app for iOS and android (all native and material design), skin-able specific use-case wallets, Marketing... There are lots of things being started, worked on and finished up as we speak.

BitShares Munich will be expanding over the coming days. BM has been so far, and confirms that he will continue to consult with us in assisting our expansion, getting more Devs up to speed on graphene, direction with the different repos and docs, etc. We have roughly 40 Devs (c++, js, python and ui/x etc) that can work with us on various projects (as you guys know I have been in software and outsourcing for over 24 years now). Roughly 7 of those 40 are employed with us full-time and as more investment comes in we can slowly expand further. I would like all of the existing projects above finished/polished first and make them awesome.

Agree, maybe it is a good thing that we will have a more stable ecosystem for the next months now. We at BitShares Munich are continuing our efforts and are heavily focusing on POS software (Odoo, Standalone) and started raising funds for our mobile payment app ECHO. The response from the market and investors is very good so far.

I am sad that BM shifted his focus and will work on STEEM now, but somehow it is like a Satoshi Nakamoto moment for BitShares. Now it is up to us to develop this awesome platform and make it great.

You can start helping us already: Leave a comment here https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,22218.0.html
We want to update the BitShares.org main site. Thank you for your help!
Just going to +5% this to be sure everyone sees it ;)

Come on everybody, post a suggestion and let's make of bitshares.org something exiting, something that makes ppl want to know more about BitShares and invest in it.

I don't think it's wise to consider prices vs BTC. We all live in a world where the rent, the bread, the coffee are valued in our local fiat money.

I will be more than happy to see bts at 200 stats if BTC climb to 5k$.

Investor checks the wealth of their investments in fiat, not in BTC.

Even if the bts : btc chart looks a little ugly, when you display it in $ (cmc graph) it looks different,  kind of exiting actually !

The community is growing and projects are blooming, I don't think we will hit and break the resistance around 0.003$.

I'm sure there is lot of guys who bought higher than 0.005 and will buy some to lower their average buy price if we go lower than 0.004.

I guess we'll see !

Maybe the new website could help with that, a fresh new display of everything going on could make the difference.

It's not supposed be like that. I tried disabling JavaScript on chrome to see if that's the problem, but then the page doesn't load at all. You could try checking that you have JavaScript enabled, just in case.

I don't know a lot about computers, so don't know what else to suggest. Have you managed to download a backup? If you have then you could try messing around with chrome to see if you can get it to work.

You could take the backup and use it on a P.C.
I'll do that, backup and then trying stuff.

I'll post here if I find the solution of the prob ;)

I didn't receive bitcash on the wallet. It's still showing 0$ ;)Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Are you sure you're on the balance screen, where it says your account name? Is the page refreshed? You should have money according to cryptofresh...

http://cryptofresh.com/u/estefan.test1
Indeed, lots of bitcash on my account according to cryptofresh !

I have to keypad page showing 0
I tried the send page, it doesn't allow me to send anything, probably because of my 0 balance.
I refreshed a couple of time.

I just see 2 pages, the keypad and the send page. Where is this balance page ?

I'm using a samsung galaxy 5 / android / chrome

Next to the send button is a green '>' button which takes you to the account balance page.

The keypad page you mention, where it says $0, is where you enter the amount which you want to send. The send button won't do anything until you enter an amount using the keypad.

Sometimes, if you want to send your whole balance, you'll need to enter a cent or two less because of fees.

I hope this helps.
I've seen this page, this is where you can download you backup.

I have several a big $ symbol with on dot below and above. Under this symbol, I have several lines showing "+$". Just like if I had received several transactions but they are not showing properly.

General Discussion / Re: 224,201 BROWNIE.PTS up for donations
« on: April 12, 2016, 12:28:33 am »
I propose giving some of them to Fox for helping Bitshares get into Microsoft Azure.  (Yeah, its true that the pump didnt last, but at lest it served two useful functions: Bitshares accessibility is increased buy being on Azure, and the short term pump by being one of the first coins on there resulted in a lot of BTS being transferred from old disgruntled bagholders to new buyers, some of whom hopefully will help it to grow).

Absolutely. Well, there are so many deserving contributors, Fox definately being one! I'm happy to move my pledge of half my brownies to @Fox . thank you @xeroc
IIRC I already sent a bunch of them his way.

Great!  They were well deserved.

Anyway, while we are on the topic of brownies:

Back last summer there was talk of sharedrops onto BTS and Brownies, for projects like Identabit.
Did those ever happen?  Or a snapshot for them taken?
I'm also interested about the evolution of Identabit.

What is offering wave ? I don't see the innovation. I would buy some and contribute to this DEX volume thing if it's worth invest some bucks. Anyone has an opinion on wave ?

Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Wave is a trust based UIA exchange like Ripple that promises some big name partners and slick GUI wallet with the DEX ability of BTS.  Since they only trade asset backed UIA's, it will be a great place to promote bitGOLD, bitRUB etc.  In other words, it will make a great sidechain.

It seems, like nobody wants to compete in the smartcoin market. So let's promote our niche!
Thanks ! Very valuable explanation ! I'll probably buy some tomorrow.

I like the projects with BitShares synergies potential ;)
