No worries. Think it's been like that for around 24 hours. Noticed it last night around this time. (Sydney GMT +11 time).

Guess you're on your Chrissy holidays .. well deserved!

When you get back I assume you already know bitsharesblock.com is either on a fork or 8000+ blocks behind for some other reason. ;)

Have you got any(enough to cover transaction fees) BTS in your 'account 1' and 'account 2'?

Check out
>>> blockchain_market_order_book GATEBTC BTS
I've placed some orders their.

cheers.

Yeah have enough BTS in both accounts, but the GUI wasn't allowing me to send the GATEBTC hence the CLI.

If there were more people shorting or selling BitBTC and also willing to swap 1:1 for GATEBTC, IMO that would be a good way in/out of BTS. Especially considering there is no 'feed' for GATEBTC/BTS. Recently paid $10+ in fees to Bter doing a withdrawal.

May be moot when Monsterer gets his direct to BitAssets working smoothly anyway.

Yeah was thinking that may be the issue. Used wallet_transfer_from rather than wallet_transfer. Not sure why .. think it was the first one I saw. :)

Hey

Was just playing around/testing:

1. Sent 0.02 BTC to "account 1". 0.02 GATEBTC received successfully
2. Created Market order on GATEBTC/BITBTC from "account 2" selling 0.02 BitBTC. Bought/matched it with "account 1" successfully (assets swapped).
3. Did the reverse again. GATEBTC back in original account (minus small fee).
4. Made sure imported address was the active key for "account 1"
5. Transferred 0.019998 GATEBTC to gatewaybtc (using cli as gui was saying insufficient funds and displaying 0.1 GATEBTC as the fee, wanted to use BTS as the fee).

Nothing coming through. I may have used the wrong transfer command? It is saying "ozvic as ozvic" rather than just ozvic as the sender? (wallet_transfer_from)

Cheers.

DevShares / Re: Is DevShares officially launched?

I've been thinking about trying to run a burner delegate just to replace one of the init delegates for quite some time, but haven't made the investment yet because I'm insecure about my abilities.

Unless you have the votes lined up already .. capitalist thinking by (the former) i3 .. don't think they'll be ditching their init's anytime soon.

Wondering if maybe it would be appropriate to get some practice on the DevShare network first.

My DevShares has no connections, just the one default peer supplied but not connecting.

Can anyone supply some peer details? Or are we not ready to go yet?

Ha .. fixed it during my stay in sydney ;)

You can pull my latest commit .. will publish price for krw too

But yhea .. communication with me will be difficult for the next 3 weeks ... vacation in australia ::)

G'day xeroc, enjoy your stay in oz, mate! Summer down under, lots of beaches, babes, barbies and flies! Hope you're ready for a stinker! (ie. hot)

By the way, you're on a "holiday" .. no such thing as a "vacation" down here. ;)

A short Aussie story..
A story about mateship. Sheila didn't come home one night. When Bruce asked her where she'd been she said she spent the night at a girl friend's house. Bruce was a bit suspicious she'd been rooting around so rang her ten closest friends, but none of them had seen her.
Next week Bruce didn't come home one night. Sheila asks him where the hell he'd been. Bruce says he got a bit drunk at a mate's place and thought it was safer not to drive and crash out there. Sheila thinks he's been rooting around so rings his ten best mates. Eight of them say he spent the night there and two claim he's still there.

You're not recognising the colour-coding of version for people who compiled themselves and published from CLI: (orange instead of green)

eg.
v0.4.24-5-g1854346

Publish your version, toast! Don't want to find you're on v0.4.12!  :P

Feeds ready to go?

Up-voted with my meagre stake.

The fact that I've only ever posted 23 times does not mean I am newcomer here, I've spent literally weeks reading things here on this forum over the last year.

 +5%

Many of us avid readers and supporters don't feel the need to quote a wall of text to add a  +5% whether it be to show true agreement or to get their post count up. Many may be like me, only speak out when they have something truly useful to say. Unfortunately for me that's not too often... so I'll leave it at that.

It might be useful if you could do a 'Sell BitUSD' order 'at the Price Feed/PEG' (assuming ASKS are filled before SHORTS) to avoid having to chase the PEG around.

Is collateral reserved on an open order or only after execution?

eg. If you trusted 4 different assets (eg. USD, CNY, EUR and AUD) and wanted to short all your btsx ie. go "All-In", could you post the same valued short against all of the 4 assets? Then once one executes, the other 3 disappear or cancel?

If not (which I get the feeling is the case), a feature suggestion maybe to short to "the markets you tick the checkbox for". ie. One short-wall order for different assets.
