Does it matter what your account username is? Does this compromise your privacy?
This section allows you to view all posts made by this member. Note that you can only see posts made in areas you currently have access to.
For ease of use I'd do this:
go to the programs/qt_wallet/bin
sudo cp Bitshares /usr/local/bin/.
go to the programs/qt_wallet/bin
sudo cp Bitshares /usr/local/bin/.
That way it's on the path.

Try it as root (sudo npm install) from in the web_wallet directory.
I received an error after using the command "cd bitshares"
It gives me this error: "bash: cd: bitshares: No such file or directory"
Have you cloned the source from git yet? If so, remember it is case sensitive and they changed some letters to capitals.
ok, go the sudo npm install route then.
Run it with sudo. I know the instructions don't say to but sometimes it's the only way I can get it to work.Actually instead try sudo apt-get install nodejs-legacy
At a very low level, reminds me of the approach Blackcoin is taking.
