They offered the liquidity maker for free. Yield wasn't part of the offer.

I'm all for yield, but i think it should be separate from this liquidity project.  I think the idea of setting up a treasure bill or bond that only accepts bitassets or initially just bitusd should be used for yield. When people create bitassets they either sit on them or sell them back into the market. Why not have a bond/bill for people to place their newly created bitassets into that can generate a return for them.

 Better yet, have the option at short creation to send thenewly crerated bitassets directly to a bond/bill.

I hope your work will be transparent from the beginning.
Releasing it when it is fully funded is not reasonable.
If you got voted out at half way shareholders must have always access to your work.

You are already using the work, have you been to the cryptofresh site?? This is the problem with people. If you do the work for free, people expect to you keep working for free. If you ask for money, they ignore all the work you have already done.

It seems the key to this working is getting people to hold their bts in the DEX by offering a dividend for using their funds for generating smartcoin liquidity. So can we just decide on a plan already!!!

We do need to streamline our product and messaging.  Too much energy is being spent understanding what the product is instead of what it does.

How about using the funds to help provide micro loans for people. Loan programs are better at helping people than just giving them money in some circumstances. Maybe a program like these,

Why not do the opposite and have bitasset:bts pairs traded only on external exchanges? The DEX then becomes a store where bitassets are brought/sold directly by the network. Users can't buy/sell bitassets for bts between each other. People can still short their own bitassets into existence and even get a reward from the network based on how much more collateral they use.  We sell the bitassets at a percentages above price feed. The more BTS a exchange/person keeps in the DEX the better exchange rate they get. It would be like using the 0% fee transfer protocol for pricing the exchange rate. The more stake you have, the better rate you get for buying bitassets.

Or maybe this split the difference. The bond puts up half of the collateral and pool the other half. Profits are split 50/50 for asset sells.
