BitShares ME is what we call "low hanging fruit." It is easy to spin off when we get to this point in the testing of BitShares X and can be done in parallel with the testing - and is, in fact, a test of key technologies that have a by-product use.
Since our commitment is to build value for the industry this is another way to incrementally deliver that value.
Delivering that value in such a way that elevates the value of PTS and AGS also increases the resources necessary to add more functionality and therefore more value to everybody's investments.
At the same time, we are mitigating risk by testing BitShares X incrementally and minimizing the likelihood of ever needing a reset.
Every move we make is calculated to maximize the best results for everybody. There are many factors to be considered.

Yes, BitShares ME is its own permanent family of DACs - giving rise to a whole new cottage industry of home-made applications. Who knows what non-technical people will invent with this?

if bitshares me is a new dac ,i dont konw if need a new dac Bitshares Me XT to test it it seems iii have many dac ideas , but more dac more strict as a ags invester now much like a funtionable bitshares than many dac ideas

这个 bts me 出来，pts 价值大涨，所以又要跌 1 半。
我只能建议大家再好好回味一下 3i 原来的商业计划。
The original business plan when Charles was CEO was something along the lines of: 1) Build Keyhotee and attract a lot of eyeballs (users) 2) Monetize these eyeballs through hardware sales (wallet, miners, add-on services) 3) Build DACs that use our dedicated mining hardware. 4) Run a mining pool and collect all of the fees.
CC, Ripple, MSC, and XCP are all just IOU trading platforms, BitShares Me is their competitor. Ethereum is like a DAC prototyping platform OR platform for non-profit-seeking DAOs to use without having to do lots of work.

按照我对 bytemaster 对 Me 的介绍的理解，我也同意 toast 的解释（才会把它转发到微博上）。
一旦 Me 启动网络效应，没有人知道到底会不会加进抵押功能自己演化成 X。我不关心 XT 演化成 X 还是 Me 演化成 X。我只关心我的快照是什么时候取的，因为对每个人来说这都会影响自己能拥有多少股权，或多或少。
3I 对 Me 所言甚少。再说，连硬笔描绘的 roadmap 都说改就改，没人会对 bytemaster 轻描淡写的 roadmap 太当真。毕竟，谁能知道 Me, Music, Insurance, XT (without exchange), PTS with TaPOS 哪个会先出？
对于 3I 的帖每帖必看的人来说，都知道下面这张图是什么典，是谁在什么语境下说的，用来表达什么。可并不是每帖必看，忙（着并行炒别的币？）到只够看 News letter 的人来说，他们有“Bitshares Me? WTF is this?”的反应是完全可以理解的。

这么多是非纷扰，这么多法律风险，这么多 scam 质疑， 我现在真的怀疑 Proof Of Fund 是不是比 Proof Of Burn 更少荒诞。甚至中本聪大神原始的 Proof Of hash power & electricity Burn。
