The founder ID's are preregistered in the Genesis block. You claim it by importing your private key from Keyhotee or via the command line using the wallet_import_keyhotee or something similar.

I tried the command line wallet_import_keyhotee and got the error message stated above. ie.:
10 assert_exception: Assert Exception
false: Account name is already registered under a different key
How does one import his private key from Keyhotee? I am running Keyhotee version 0.7.0 but cannot find an export function for private key.
Can we get a quick how-to for exporting our Keyhotee private keys and importing them to BTSX.

I've the same problem as you, my Keyhotee id also starts from a number.
As far as I know, those Keyhotee ids are not written in genesis block and then can't import.
What a sad :'(

My founder id 'networker' didn't include in genesis clock. But I registered it successfully. I'v sent an email to [email protected] to claim my BTS. But I didn't receive any bts and email. What shall I do now?

If you have been having trouble importing your Keyhotee Founder ID it is probably for this reason:
BTSX is not Keyhotee. For security reasons, it has its own, more stringent rules for what constitutes a legal name: <ISO Basic Latin Alphabet, only lowercase alphanumeric characters, dots, and dashes. Must start with a letter and cannot end with a dash.> Think of them as far more flexible than a bank account number but constrained to facilitate accuracy and avoid name confusion and collisions.
So we tried to give an extra benefit to our Founders by including them in more than just the genesis block of Keyhotee. We added them to BTSX too.But some names just won’t work in BTSX.
Of the names that would work, many had never been registered during the long Keyhotee registration process.
So we did what we could and included all the legal <name-public id> pairs we had.
Since so many Founders did not register (probably because of early Keyhotee instability) we decided to award Founders their BTSX shares manually.
If you did register with Keyhotee, then you can use it to dump your private key. Copy it and paste the private key (wif_key) into your BTXS console with wallet_import_private_key <wif_key> , and it should find your Keyhotee ID in the BTSX genesis block and give you access to it as a new account.
If, your Keyhotee ID wasn’t legal under BTSX we’ll let you change it to one that you were able to register instead. That's where your promotional BTSX will be sent. No the founder shares are one day worth of ags split over all founder donations equally .. the other 199 day of ags donations are extra and you can access your stake using the privkeys of your sending addressesah..wait, Stan send only founders amount, so i need to load btsx from 28.02 snapshot and AGS by myself?

mf-tzo it sounds like the account is not associated with your wallet. Are you sure you've claimed it with the wallet_import_keyhotee? You won't see a balance and it won't show up in your account list until it is associated

But I was able to see the field "balances" for mf-tzo even if it didn't belong to me apparently at that time and was showing zero. what is a 'fresh' founder id?

the import command will automatically find the 'registered account name' from your keyhotee registration ... IF you name is part of the genesis block
you CANNOT unbind the account name from the private key .. they are bound together indefinitly

Try and rescan the blockchain by simply typing "rescan" into the console.....
