Here is the link to Patrick J. Kelly's A Practical Guide to Free Energy Devices : http://www.free-energy-info.com/PJKbook.pdf

Oh boy.

From http://www.free-energy-info.com/NewcomerIndex.html:

Why Aren’t Free-energy Generators in the Shops?

This is a very fair question.  Unfortunately, the answer is unpleasant.  About 4% of humans are sociopaths, that is, people who have no feelings for other people and just do not care what happens to them, seeing other people as just objects to be manipulated and used, no matter how damaging that is to those other people.

Many of these unfortunate sociopaths become rich as a result of their total lack of concern for others and some of those have come together to form a very powerful group known as the New World Order which has managed to subvert governments and impose many protection-racket style scams on all ordinary people.  Those scams force people to give them more than 80% of their earned income.

<facepalm/>

Huh? They've had BTS(X) on their exchange for several months now, but zero volume.

Plus, I tested their CCPAYT service a couple of days ago and have received neither coins nor a reply from their support.

Edit: meanwhile I have received both.

Bought some bitUSD at the same ASK for the lowest price.. order processed right away to withdraw my BTS.. but my buy order just sat there.

That may have been due to price rounding. I. e. the internal price of the offer you tried to match was slightly higher than what was displayed and/or what you put in your order.

Can anyone send me some PTS so I can register my account and get funds off BTER? I'll gladly hook you up with extra PTS if you help me out.

It would be nice if you could try our new registration faucet: http://faucet.cubeconnex.com/

General Discussion / Re: Wrong amount in small orders
« on: March 18, 2015, 09:31:58 am »
When i submit a bid wanting to buy 8 BTS @ 0.000132555 USD i get this in the orderbook.
Code: [Select]
0.0010 USD                7.54403 BTS                     0.000132555000 USD
Why i don't get the full 8 BTS?

For 8 BTS you'd have to pay .001060440000 USD. But USD is limited to 4 decimals, so you can either have 7.54403 for .001 USD or 8.29844 BTS for .0011 USD. Apparently the client is always rounding down.

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: BitSuperLab please fix your feeds
« on: March 18, 2015, 08:15:44 am »

Aah i see but its averaged out amongst all delegates providing feeds right?

Not quite. If it was averaged a delegate could manipulate the feed by publishing a price that is extremely off. The market price feed is the median (i. e. middle) value of all published feed prices. So if a delegate changes his published price from below the market feed to above the market feed (or vice versa) the market feed will move to the next published price (which should be very close to its neighbour).

So IMO published feeds should be as accurate as possible, but the time of publishing should be unpredictable.

I guess I should just go design a feed-prediction attack and make money myself, since people seem so hard to convince.

At the very least, feed scripts should randomize update times. I'll leave it at that until I can give a better argument.

Feed-prediction? if you can predict the feed you would be a trillionaire by now... do you mean feed arbitrage or some other form of manipulation?

I think feed prediction is entirely possible because the feed is trailing the actual market. By closely monitoring the delegates' individual feeds it should be possible to predict when a given delegate updates his feed, from what sources he derives the feed price and what his next published price will be. Such prediction will likely be possible a couple of blocks before the publishing, and the accuracy of the predicted price will likely be high compared to the difference between the new price and the previous price published by that delegate.

But since a delegate does not control the price directly I would assume that the predictable price *movement* is too small to be exploitable.

Many sources/greater reliability is what I am advocating here

General Discussion / Re: Price explanation
« on: March 17, 2015, 10:34:39 am »
The important thing here is that an ask will match the short with the highest interest rate even if there are other shorts or bids with a better price.

The trades in question had a volume of 1-2 BTS and do not represent the market value of either BTS or BitUSD.

Technical Support / Re: Manual cover transaction fee
« on: March 15, 2015, 08:50:19 am »
This is probably related: https://github.com/BitShares/bitshares/issues/1385

v0.6.2 contains a workaround.

1154

How does the current implement works? If no BitUSD available at the feedprice, it goes straight to (feedprice - 10%) and ignores anything in between?

The current implementation prefers shorts over bids below the feed price. It also prefers shorts with a higher interest rate over those with a lower interest rate. So if there is no bid above the feed price and the short with the highest interest rate is between feed price and 0.9*feed it will be used for the cover. This is more or less the documented market behaviour.

The market logic has been subject of discussion (and several github issues) for several weeks now, and a new market engine is being worked on.

wallet_account_balance should always be up to date, as long as
1. you're fully synched, and
2. the wallet is unlocked.
