After reading through the .p2p site I can honestly say this has me super excited. I've long lamented the centralized nature of dns registration.
Perhaps because I'm more technical than business minded and just "get" this product I'm more excited about this release than BitsharesX.

Since PTS still plays a major role in the allocation of future releases from I3 and others using the Bitshares-toolkit it would make sense for it to feature more prominently on the updated public facing sites. This will eliminate squatting names like Facebook, Microsoft, etc. perhaps if they can digitally sign using the DNS records you can award to their public key. Think long term 5 years from now.
This. No one wants to play that game again. How are squatters going to be handled?
