Any plans on a faster miner for these last few days?  Some of the other miners are incredibly fast but do not work with 1gh pool.

Thanks

BitShares PTS / Re: [ANN] ypool.net - Fast PTS pool
« on: February 25, 2014, 02:01:18 am »
With the 28th fast approaching, will ypool do a payout if less than a share is earned? I know the schedule is normal only when a full share is earned, but it would be nice this was done once before the 28th.

YPool responded to one of my tickets about this stating we will have to contact them after the snapshot with our BTS address for them to send us our cut...  I don't know why it would be so hard to just payout any balances on or before the 28th?  Perhaps they are betting people will forgot and not contact them?!

BitShares PTS / Re: lost original protoshare wallet
« on: February 19, 2014, 05:04:59 am »
I had Norton installed on my computer and after the installation I tried to start up my wallet and I get an error message stating that the protoshare wallet cannot be installed because the qtcore4.dll is missing from my computer. It told me to reinstall the program. From what it looks like the original wallet I downloaded back in December is no longer available instead there is bitshare pts. Is there a way I can recover my funds?  :-[

There should still be a wallet.dat file in C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\Protoshares  Download the latest Bitshares PTS application and copy your original wallet.dat into the new directory C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\BitShares PTS

General Discussion / Re: Price rising too fast

Any news causing the current price spike in China?
PTS is trading over 0.02 BTC on btc38. Cryptsy only slowly catching up.

Most likely just people wanting a piece of BTS, thus converting some of their BTC or alt coins into PTS...

Depending on the CPU, something like a Radeon 7950/280x is only 1.5-2.5x faster...  For this reason, along with many others, we should be promoting PTS.

Can't wait to see the 12 day roller coaster ride for PTS, when this news comes out.

I do not think anyone will sell until after the snapshot has been taken...  After the snapshot it could be a free fall until we get closer to future products honoring pts directly.

BitShares PTS / Re: yam (yvg1900) miner performance comparison

ZVS

Stock speed L5639 running 10x256mb threads was getting me around 180-200cpm, I don't recall exactly.  I would estimate 200-250cpm with the new M version of yam and ~11 512mb threads.

Is anyone internally working on a GUI or are you leaving that up for an external bounty?

Replacing multiple ports, all the connection fails, no further connections. Until 0 cmp

Their news feed talks of a DDoS attack on one of their other pools, probably affecting all their pools.  Appears the miners will not reconnect automatically and I have to close/reopen for proper hashing.

462
8 hours + since we've found a block. Is this unusual? Have we lost miners to another pool?

Total hash appears to have decreased.  Everyone needs point gpus and cpus now that yam is supported.

463
Why not take a snapshot on the 28th and let us all beta test it for a month to fix any bugs?  If all works out take a final snapshot and official launch the following month?

464
Does anyone know how to adjust clocks on the 2nd card in an AMD setup that has crossfire disabled?  Dummy plug?  I'd prefer not to load additional 3rd party software...
