Is anyone actually working on this bounty?

I am, but at a very low pace.

Following pairs are now supported with instant order function,

Please help spread the news, and do test it for me as well :)

https://www.ccedk.com/btc-usd
https://www.ccedk.com/btc-eur
https://www.ccedk.com/btc-cny
https://www.ccedk.com/ltc-btc
https://www.ccedk.com/btc-dkk

Great!

Tested BTC -> EUR successfully. Now trying SEPA-withdraw...

993
Have you tried the command line client for synching? It seems to be more reliable.

994
Hi ccedk,

thanks for your great service!

That is the only pair enabled for Instant order, for the moment being, we are also working on EUR coming soon.

Any estimate how "soon" this (BTC->EUR) will be? And/or any estimate when you'll allow BTS->EUR or BitUSD->EUR?

Is it possible to instantly convert BTC->USD and then withdraw the USD to a German bank account?

Stakeholder Proposals / Re: Short Order Refactoring
« on: June 21, 2015, 12:56:23 pm »
How can the close from collateral part work together with the need for the bitAsset to persist? If you self create a bitAsset, then sell it, then close by collateral, the system leaks bitAssets, doesn't it?

I think he means that the collateral can be used to buy the bitAssets with which the position is closed.

IIRC covers are ordered by their margin call limit, and orders with identical limits are in fact ordered by their owner address.

BitShares PTS / Re: PTS to Register Account?
« on: June 19, 2015, 12:28:17 pm »
If the faucet has sufficient balance you can use it to register your account and pay afterwards.

Also, using the CLI client you can import your old private keys without registering an account. Not sure if that works in the GUI.

(But without the passphrase of your old wallet you can't access your old private keys, which makes this a somewhat academic exercise.)

IIRC you'll receive ~500 new PTS for each old one.

That's just a test program that fails to build, which might have something to do with using dynamic boost libs. Anyway, you don't need to build the test programs.

Instead of just typing "make", use "make bitshares_client" to build the CLI wallet, or "make buildweb BitShares" for the GUI.

I just wanted to get some clarity on the meaning of this 100,000 number.

* Are we talking about matched orders -> output transactions here (as in LMAX) ?
* Are we talking about transaction verification as in blockchain sync?

We're talking of applying transactions to the internal ledger database. Not sure if that includes matching market orders (probably yes). This is by nature a serial process and the only real bottleneck in the whole system.

We're not talking about verifying transaction signatures or hashes, as that can be sped up through parallelization.

If which BitUSD hits the feed price?

If I shorted BitUSD when BTS was lower..and now it's twice as high...what would prevent it from covering?

It will cover at the feed price, i. e. when someone sells BitUSD at the feed price.

General Discussion / Re: Toolkit and sharedrop concept abolished?
« on: June 15, 2015, 03:05:46 pm »
Anyone who wants to use Graphene for anything but BitShares will have to license it from CNX.
IMO that will make future sharedrops muchless likely, because
a) nobody can create a simple clone coin using the toolkit, and
b) anyone who buys a license from CNX has no (moral) reason to sharedrop on anyone else.

General Discussion / Re: Cryptonomex? WTF is this?
« on: June 14, 2015, 07:56:22 pm »
BitShares may use the code we release for 2.0 without restrictions
BitShares may develop extra features and use them without restriction

Very good, thanks for the clarification!

General Discussion / Re: Cryptonomex? WTF is this?
« on: June 14, 2015, 11:03:54 am »

BTS will be at complete mercy of Cryptonomex, partialy or completely funding the developement of
Graphene, [...]
BTS owners should have a stake in the IP ownership of the code too.

+1

IMO the danger is that while BTS will (at least partially) fund development of Graphene, BTS will (?) only be licensed to use Graphene as-is. I. e. if at some point in the future Cryptonomex decides to no longer license future versions of Graphere to BTS, then BTS will be stuck with an old client and no (legal) way for other developers to update/enhance it in accordance with BTS shareholders' interests.

Of course right now this point is somewhat academic, because without BM/Cryptonomex BTS will be dead anyway.

Follow My Vote / Re: Please refresh my memory re: merger
« on: June 13, 2015, 07:21:25 am »
If you have already imported your BTC+PTS keys into the BitShares wallet you're fine.

A VOTE client was never released. The additional sharedrop from the merger belongs to your existing BTC + PTS keys and can be claimed at any time (but the full amount is vested over 2 years).

See CLI commands wallet_account_vesting_balances and wallet_collect_vested_balances .
