The first one kindly gives useful information : 500bts.
The second one gives useful information : 300bts

It's still a very little amount, but just an express of my appreciation.

I have wallet and private keys backup for bts 0.8.0, since than I have not touch.

Then in last year 2016, I found bts upgraed to 2.0, I downloaded  BitShares-light_2.0.160314, installed.
and imported private key, but the account value =0 !  (since it was cheep, so i didn't investigate further)

Recently, I know that first I should first  download BTS 1.0, version 0.9.3, than export wallet .
so I did.
1. exported wallet in 0.9.3.
2. installed BitShares-light_2.0.170522. and run
3. created account

but I can't found any import private key button or some control method on the screen.

Can anybody help.
If I can take back my account, I will give a little bounty 500bts for my appreciation.

Thanks!

i wil say it again - this is not a merger.

all the DNS buyers on BTER got screwed big time. only BTSX are cared, but we only do it because bytemaster was on the move to VOTE. sorry i don't buy it. i just lost a big junk of my invested money without need. i invested in AGS because i liked the competing DACs. My bad, that most of my money was invested after the BTSX snapshot. So my portion in BTSX was small. I bought a couple of BTSX on BTER.

So i was just happy to see my taken risk gotten be rewarded with the coming DACs DNS and Vote , Music as well. Play will come and now we "vote" to merge. But my stakes has no votes. i am delitued the most.

- my after the BTSX AGS snapshot got not much
- my DNS are valued nothing
- my VOTE are valued nothing

question is why we are doing this? just to simplify anything? sorry i don't buy it. the whole merger is in big favor of all the supporters before the BTSX snapshot.

why not just throw BTSX away take a fair AGS Snapshot and allocte PTS in some way?

i can tell, because it will upset the big fish who are invested before the BTSX snapshot and will get in the new BTS chain less then now.

don't call it a merger - it is not!

every promise was broken.

i am in favor of the idea, but how the AGS/PTS + DNS + VOTES are treated is shameful.

on this emerging mumble session bytemaster said "no, only AGS and PTS will be merged with BTSX" just a couple hours BTSX is thucking everything in.

sry, that i am upset, but if you "merge" someone has to lose and that's me.

I understand how you feel.  There are no easy answers, but the best I have for you is this:  BTSX could have evolved without giving DNS anything and then competed with DNS.    No merger, no buy out, just competition in a free market.   Would that have been breaking any promises?   Would you have lost more or less money as a result?

All the promotion made by 3i made many people believe that bts will focus on the distributed market & monetary stuff, DNS will do keyid/domain stuff and there will be no DNS2.
This plan makes me fill betrayed.

And I also lost a lot of money in DNS, bought quite a lot just few days ago, and was now fucked!

P.S. flydragon are you asking for help to get the wallet stable or to register a delegate? I couldn't register a delegate with the GUI, and had to do it through the console. The first command I used charged a transaction fee but didn't register me. I got it to work in the end, I think I had to put:

wallet_account_register <account_name> <pay_from_account> [public_data] [delegate_pay_rate]

so for you this may look something like:

wallet_account_register nihao nihao null 100

P.P.S. After hassling toast and gamey, I thought I should contribute something, so I've tried to think of ideas for an improved model for the DAC. I'm gonna create a new topic with some suggestions, hopefully later today if I have time.

Thank you very much hadrian,
I tried you command, but it didn't work.
I think my wallet got some problem. The bottum bar is gray, showing not connected.
Lastweek when I re-installed, for some while it got connected (green), then I paied for delegate, but the transaction didn't get broadcasted to the chain, so didn't succeeded.

Modify: there is some delay in the command line,
the command result is bellow:
Still not sure if it's already worked (when I last registration)? but doesn't show in the GUI.

>> wallet_account_register nihao youxi null 50

20025 duplicate_account_name: duplicate account name
This account name has already been registered!

Hi gamey,
I read your first post, but my wallet is in trouble since last week, it got stuck, mostly "not connected". And even for short while it's synced (with the bottom bar turns green), I can not make any payment, it even doesn't broadcast the transaction.  The wallet WAS OK two weeks ago, but now I'm not able to register delegate for my account.

I tried many time and many ways, including using the wallet update, re-creating the DB, running the client over night, uninstall/re-install, upgrading to 0.4.16.  but it doesn't work. frustrating... I will try 0.4.17 later...

But I don't want to miss my beloved ID, so could you please take it in? Thanks!

PS.
Anybody can tell me what's wrong?
And if I want to report the problem, shall I catch some log to do it?
