General Discussion / Stuck on block 494373
« on: September 21, 2014, 04:46:20 am »
I have been stuck on a block (494373) for a few days now.  I tried redownloading the chain and it downloads the chain up to the same block.

Thoughts on how to fix it?

Video was great, do more of them.  Ignore the haters.  Honestly if you were spending months making really professional videos instead of DACs, I don't think anyone would be happy.

Thank you, bitbro! Half the freaking postings around here are from this Adam guy, who clearly does not feel like it's a good fit for him. He complains that his time is 150% committed and he doesn't have time for anything, yet he comes back here again and again to waste the time of these developers, who keep patiently responding to his crud. Move on already. How many times do you keep calling a girl who clearly isn't into you?

Adam has clearly shown to be deeply committed and invested to making this whole DAC idea work.  He has written, conversed, and added a ton of value to this space.  What have you done besides shit on his work and say that he is wasting his time.  Honestly if he isn't involved or has walked away, then that is a strong indication that we should leave as well.

You can always scale the margin requirements to the amount of capital.  So at the low end where people only have 100 BTS, have a 10x margin as they are the ones who will get called the most often.  While at the high end you can only require 2X as they likely have more capital that they can deploy without a forced call.

General Discussion / Re: GET YOUR BTS XT Wallet Here!
« on: March 01, 2014, 07:24:33 am »
why were you in such a hurry to take that snapshot and announce BTS XT, if you din't even have a wallet handy . .! further as promised in the beginig that BTS will be launched when PTS will be minned completely, now you leave some 60k plus future PTS holders out of the race from you most promising DAC.. you know what, people are going to be gox'd by you, just a matter of time if you will keep acting immature,, no matter what your intentions are

1.  Sooner is better when everyone is trying to do the same thing.

2.  Miners are paid employees who provide security for the network, that is it.  You do the work, you get paid.  BTS isn't a charity that will just hand out shares for the heck of it.  If someone wanted a piece of the action, they could get in just like everyone else.

3.  The snapshot wasn't in a hurry, there was two months! of notice, this snapshot wouldn't take anyone by surprise.  There were posts on every social network about the snapshot, taking your PTS from exchanges, etc.

4.   People will take you more seriously if you take the time to get your spelling and grammar correct.  Not being a dick here, but come on, you just sound like a rambling idiot, one of many on the internet.  Take double the time to write that and you will be amazed by how much more people will respond to you.

BitShares AGS / Re: Repost: Announcing AGS & BitShares Allocation
« on: February 27, 2014, 07:07:05 am »
The ratio is much much much better for AGS than PTS.  1 PTS = 1.5 BTS and 1 AGS = 3.5.  I highly recommend switching to AGS before the switch.

Why would anyone invest in you if you aren't even following the social consensus that everyone has already invested in?  Really this just looks like a lame money grab
