'The deregulation of crowdfunding and unbundling of services were two additionally paired themes that added to this combustion, and the whole thing was turbo-charged by a crypto-tech governance layer of technologies and trust-based automations to allow DAOs to run, as Stan Larimer says, "without any human involvement under the control of an incorruptible set of business rules."'

General Discussion / New Wallet is Coming Along Nicely 0.6.1
« on: February 10, 2015, 09:10:15 am »
If you haven't used the wallet in awhile, you might want to check out 0.6.1.  I'm still lost in the delegates tab but the stability and performance is worlds better for me personally.  It would be great if everyone could take a few minutes to look for bugs.

How about putting that bounty toward the Bitcoin Wallet proposal?

"We need to build a bitcoin wallet.  branded as a bitcoin wallet, that allows hedging of bitcoin with no counterparty  risk.   Bitshares is never mentioned.  perhaps bitusdis mentioned, but it is certainly not front and centre.   IF we do that then we begin a stampede into bitUSD on the next bitcoin price drop.   And we dont have to pay a penny in advertising.  Coindesk, word of mouth and reddit will do all the work for us.   You won't be able to get Barry Silbert and every other pundit to shut up about how bitcoins volatility problem has been solved on CNBC." "  BitShares is what it is.  It works.  It can recover if it ever does break.  It is a fielded system and we are aggressively building on top of it.  People should ask if they find its services useful and if they think it will appreciate given its growing feature set, strong community and self-funding mechanism.

Bytemaster takes live questions from a world wide audience every Friday at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
We would love to discuss things with you there:
BitShares Global Teleconference "  *Stan

I already commented how much I love this in another post, I thought it was so meaningful I wanted to draw attention to it.   What a great way to address so many needless arguments in Bitcointalk while also engaging the overall crypto community.
