General Discussion / Error Messages in the GUI
« on: September 08, 2014, 04:03:10 pm »
Hey,

I'm trying to short on the GUI, but every time I try to confirm, a message pops up in the top right hand corner in red. It says something about an exception. But it's truncated and vanishes after a few seconds. Want to post a bug report but I can't even get a meaningful debug message. Is there a console command I can't find to dump this message?

Thanks.

General Discussion / Linux QT wallet compilation issues
« on: September 04, 2014, 07:10:23 am »
Hello, I've filed the following bug report about failing to compile the QT wallet in linux. I've been trying for a few days now to no avail, was wondering if anyone could give a hand: https://github.com/BitShares/bitshares_toolkit/issues/742

Thanks!

General Discussion / Typo(s) and grammar goblins in invictus.io
« on: January 17, 2014, 03:33:52 pm »
Hello,

Wanted to point out any typos I see in invictus.io. The first one:

In http://www.invictus.io/funding-philosophy.php

"As an technologist" -> "As a technologist"
"capitol" -> "capital"

"Every day for 200 days, 10.000 stakes are mapped to the investors in Angelshares. Invest using either BitShares PTS or Bitcoin. After 200 days, 2 million stakes will be distributed" - > I'm just being a stickler here, but different countries use different ways of separating their thousands. I think if 10,000 is used, then at least it won't be confused with 10 <b>point</b> 000.

In http://www.invictus.io/bitshares.php:

"What innovations Bitcoin brought to fiat currencies, what innovations Bitshares will bring to equity and currency trading." - > This just reads awkwardly. I'm not certain it's a grammatically correct sentence.
