General Discussion / 606 bts will prevent website from using bitshares
« on: December 26, 2017, 07:26:10 am »
It will take 606 bts to issue one new user asset. That would be relatively expensive compared to issuing one erc20 compatible token in ethereum.
This will prevent some web3.0 application from using bitshares.

1. setting the maximum allowed value is a good idea.

2. It will take about 606 BTS To create one asset, that is, it will take about 606*0.6$, a little expensive?
3. What suprises me most is the fee about upgrade account. Maybe I did not understand its meaning.
4. For a website, what is the smart choice to choose between bitshare and ethereum?

First thank you PC for the reply.
Sorry for the "inactive", but I find there indeed exist many questions remain unanswered.
by saying no upper limit, I mean the upper limit is not known beforehand or fixed.  it will grow as time passes by.
about the link for fee, really good. Thank you again.

maybe the following link is the answer to my question.
http://docs.bitshares.eu/api/wallet-api.html#account-calls

the bitsharetalk community is too inactive!

Hi,
I have several questions to consult:
  1)  I know there should exist apis to issue user asset, but I donot know where to get them. would you please tell me? thank you.
   2) From the graph interface, we should set the maximal asset limit. could I issue an user asset without maximal limit?
  3) what is the cost to issue one user asset? and what is the cost to transfer user asset between two users?
   Thank you.
 best regards,

Random Discussion / Re: number of copies for an entry in factom
« on: July 11, 2017, 01:38:37 am »
oh ,also in the whitepaper, page 8, it is said
The Directory Block for that minute is constructed from all the Entry Blocks defined by all
the servers. So, each server has all Entry Blocks, all Directory Blocks, and all Entries.
so I am confused very much.

Random Discussion / number of copies for an entry in factom
« on: July 11, 2017, 12:59:00 am »
Hello all,
I want to know how many copies there are for an entry  in Factom.
Based on the following proof,  I think there is only one copy on the its ower peer.
   1. In its website faq part, it is said" If you lose your document, you can not get it back from a hash stored in Factom."
  2. In the white paper, it is said "the Entries would only exist once on the Distributed Hash Table".
However, someone says there are many copies for an entry in Factom network.

  Thank you.
