I had the same issue with "PTS to BitShares claiming".
Even if you do everything by the tutorials, the BitShares client is not too helpful.
I never got my head around the account/wallet combination needed for a successful claim.
In the end, I got help from fluxer who helpfully guided via Skype and screensharing for a finder's fee.
Are you already at the point where you can successfully import a "0.9.3c key export file" with the current BitShares client?

Sorted with the help of fluxer555.
Turns out the wallet/account issue was the reason.
All good now, thanks again!

I just had a Skype call with fluxer555 aka Julien.
He was a true gentleman and my personal hero of the day.
With his help, I could claim my old ProtoShares in BitShares.
Highly recommended service, well worth it! :)

Thanks again!

I found a Bitshares PTS client 2.0.1 hidden on my old computer.
It shows two Genesis transaction for December 2014, 3 PTS -> ~ 1500 BTS after fees deducted.
The exports from this 2.0.1 client seem to be useless though, as they cannot be imported in the current client.

If anybody is able to help me gain access to my BTS, a fair BTS bounty will be yours.

Technical Support / Claiming after import from old PTS wallet

Hi all,

In a nutshell: I had 3 PTS and cannot claim Bitshares now.

I feel a bit silly because I am probably missing only one simple thing.
But I have been stuck for days now.
Any pointers in the right direction would be really appreciated.

I read many threads on here and posts elsewhere, but to no avail.
I tried the guide by luther-05.

What I did:
  • export keys via 0.9.3c (Windows, so command line option it is)
  • created new 2.0 account with current client
  • imported the 0.9.3c json key file into a local wallet: 4 keys found, balance of unclaimed assets shown in preview

What does not work:
  • the import did not directly show the option to claim as I saw in other screenshots
  • the local wallet "Lookup Balances" button says "no unclaimed balances found"
  • attempting a new import says "this wallet has already been imported"

So far, it was always an option of "either account or local wallet". Importing makes me switch to a local wallet.
If there is my fundamental error, please let me know. The thread linked does not give more details as how to link account/wallet.

Thanks for listening! ;)

Same thing happened to me yesterday/today.
User name: dandeman

I tried endless "resending" of the activation email.
My guess is that the domain is blacklisted somewhere.
