well, nothing from support, nothing here... Looks like openledger is SCAM guys.
Be warned and don't buy any OPEN.XXX assets. You can be not able to withdraw them.
I've personally lost $1000 dumping my OPEN.EOS for 0.3 of real price on DEX. Better than zero anyway.
These guys just stolen my money.

Looks like its last nail to BTS for me. Will dump all my BTS for BTC.

2
I see people dump OPEN.XXX hard on DEX.
Can openledger comment on withdrawals?

3
How could I contact commetee members?

4
I'm considering using Bitshares to implement service requiring a lot of prediction markets. Namely, millions of them.
But each asset costs at least 600 BTS fee, when doing in openledger GUI.

With 1 BTS = 0.11 USD it is too much. (My acceptable fee should 1 BTS max)

Are there any other way to create micro prediction markets without or with minimal fee?
They could  have long names, e.g. 100 character. Could the fee be as low as 1 BTS then?

http://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/Bter.com-cold

Anybody knows is this really cold BTC with all the bter's money?

If so, 7000 were spreaded over 7 other bitcoin addresses this night.

I wonder is it possible to find bter.com's cold "BTS" wallet?
Probably we should claim bter to refund our BTS since they lost only all their BTC

Nethertheless, 7000 BTC = 1.7 million usd so I bet that RIP bter.com

General Discussion / Re: Bter is down

I think it is standard when you got hacked :)

In the worst (and most probable for me) scenario this will be  3 btc lesson to me not to keep more than 50 bucks on centralized exchanges.

I think if bter is completely hacked it will be a good opportunity for bitshares community to advertise "unhackable" bitshares bit-assets exchange :)

btw I wonder

bitsharesblocks.com is down either? No data, just empty design.

General Discussion / Re: BTS long term support

just sold at 360 on bter and it states now
"
We have to suspend all our services waiting for the security check. More information will be released as soon as possible. Sorry for the interruption.
"

Silly me...  Hackers eat my 3 btc now :)

At least bitshares distributed exchange could not be hacked.

But why so low liquidity at bitbtc at all? Nobody whom I can buy bitbtc from.

Technical Support / Re: 0.6/0.6.1 can't send funds
« on: February 14, 2015, 01:47:35 pm »
Thank you, now I see the fa652922 on bitsharesblocks.

Strange, I thought BTS  has less-than-a minute confirmation time for transaction.  But definitely I waited longer for that tx to appear. Could it be some delegate issue? What time does delegate have to produce block and what happens if he fails to do it? I know it is not tech. support question, but could you kindly provide me a link to corresponding wiki section?

As for my other block, it was produced with 0.5.3 client and it seems there was some hardfork which prevented 0.5.3. to broadcast transaction. Now I upgraded to 0.6.1 and it seems transactions broadcast OK.

I don't quite understand what to do with '521c9756'

Can I somehow cancel it?
I did 'wallet_rescan_blockchain', it took couple of minutes to finish.  but 521c9756  still in my transaction history

If i do 'wallet_rebroadcast_transaction' the trnsaction will come to bter? Do I have an option to abandon this concrete transaction? Is it unreversible already? As you told that "block is empty" I consider this transaction "bad" but not "unreversible"

Which command should I use instead of wallet_rescan_blockchain to fix my transact history? I used simple 'rescan' also. No effect. But my GUI crashed after that.

Thank you.

Technical Support / 0.6/0.6.1 can't send funds
« on: February 14, 2015, 11:39:06 am »
1. I had 106000 BTS and sent 10000 to bter (using 0.6 gui).
2. bter didn't receive them (waited a couple of hours).
3. but transaction showed in wallet_account_history so I didn't know why they didn't come to bter.
4. Then I read that there is 0.6.1 and upgraded (from github + removed ~/.BitShares + imported wallet)
5. It showed 106000 BTS so that failed transaction didn't go to blockchain somehow
6. I sent 1000 BTS to poloniex today
7. I tried to find it on bitsharesblocks by ID (fa652922) - no results
8. poloniex didn't receive it (20mins already)
9. I suspect my client fails to send transactions.
10. What I did wrong?
11. How could I check transactions fa652922 and 521c9756 online?
12. Is it possible to do it on bitsharesblocks like with bitcoins on blockchain.info??? If yes, what is  "proof url" for transaction - so I can really be sure that it was inserted into blockchain not only by my client?

General Discussion / Re: why price BTS drop so much ,what is wrong
« on: January 26, 2015, 12:34:07 pm »
+1 for BITLTC and BITXRP assets

Also BITUSD Ripple gateway is a good thing to exchange fiat & bitshares directly

As for usability, I wonder if Electrum-like client will be available for BTSX. It's really a pain to run full client.

Technical Support / Re: Hey I've lost 200 000 BTS with client 0.5.x!!!!
« on: January 26, 2015, 08:58:03 am »
Have one more question -

Is it safe to send my account 'history' output here?
It shows my 'CLAIM' addreesses from feb 28 snapshot?

I hope if I publish 'history' output, I will not  leak  my private key to everybody?

So the question is: Is there any bitcoin_client command which could potentially leak my private key so I will be robbed if publish its output by accident?

Thanks, vikram

I used your instructions using 0.5.3 client and it worked!

I had backup of my original feb snapshot wallet - so I imported it using GUI wallet. I suppose it is JSON format (answering xeroc's question here)

Seem's its OK now, I've got 206000 BTS and will go gamble with BitBTC.

Have one more conceptual question - I see it's not appropriate place to ask - but nethertheless - if I short BitUSD I pay interest to BitUSD buyers. Is it MONTHLY interest or yearly? Where could I read docs about short operation?

Thank you very much, I liked my 200000 bts a lot ))

Also, should I do new backup of my wallet from 0.5.3 version and keep it safe? Or I could just regenerate keys every time providing that I have a tattoo with my private key on my leg? :)

I used 0.4.2 on linux and traded BTSX->BITUSD and back recently

Everything used to be OK. I've traded BITUSD back into BTSX. About 200 000 BTSX was on the account. It was 2 or 3 days ago.

After that, I upgraded client to latest (0.5.3)

After recovering account from backup (with full sync and transaction scanning) it shows 6000 BTS and nothing more!!!!

Seems it doesn't show any recent trades I did.

Please advice how could I recover my funds.

I want to buy BitBTC while it is trending and I have missed opportunity at least due to unstable client.

I need help ASAP.
