but I don`t understand why a new snapshot is needed. the snapshot of 2.28 is enough for test,As you can see there are many aspects of this that requires both development and extensive testing and none of these should be rushed. We will likely introduce BitShares ME (new snapshot taken from AGS/PTS) as an incremental step toward testing the Bid/Ask system with custom assets prior to implementing the more sensitive short/long system in BTS XT.
No, no! Every new BitShares DAC gets born with a snapshot from somewhere! BitShares ME is a new franchise, so it gets spawned from the main grandparents PTS/AGS. It will be a "sibling" franchise to BitShares X on the BitShares family tree. Only Bank and Exchange DACs are spawned with snapshots from the BitShares X proto-family born on Feb 28th.
Franchises allow people to focus their investments into specific sub-sectors of the BitShares industry. PTS/AGS are for general investment in all future franchises.
Many DAC instances can then be derived by third party developers from any family franchise.

How is my description not accurate?
My main objection is this: What Bad Things would happen if you increased the margin requirement to 1000000x from 2x?
How do you know that 10x margin requirement isn't enough to make those Bad Things happen?
If nothing else, with 10x margin requirement, I'm thinking many investors will be scared away by the small upside and large downside. The remaining capital will be stretched quite thinly, and most of it will be inefficiently deployed insuring extreme events.
In other words, I think 10x margin is so favorable to BitUSD holders that there won't be enough BitUSD short sellers to make the system work at any price.

等bts钱包软件放出来之后（估计还要至少等半个月），在bts钱包软件里导入你原来的btc/pts私钥、或者导入原来的钱包数据文件。

我的38钱包也出现一样的情况，我存到btc38的后几笔pts，都sent出去了，balance居然只有9.9了。
如果是存在自己的钱包应该数额不会变，这个最靠谱。
