Sure. I knew permanent wasnt a right choice of word :)

But I hope toast could work on our side for long.

I read from the newsletter that toast is joining I3 fulltime .
Is it permanent ? I mean, is it a long-term contract or he is only with I3 fulltime for as long as creating bitshares DNS takes?

does it mean Brian didnt do a great job?

and we paid for the site design, now we have to do it again on our own ... more importantly, your precious time could have been spent on core development instead. where's Brian?

Maidsafe and us are working together on things... not a competitor, more of a partner.

Is it already happening or it's the plan?

I have been talking with them about integrating our DNS system with their system.  We already have in person meetings / design sessions planned for NYC.

This is defintely something interesting to look forward to :)

Can Maidsafe be a potential competitor (or be a platform to a competitor) of Bitshares?

at the current level of development, this looks much nicer and more professional than what we have here..

10th law applies.
So btsx can bypass law number 1 :D

BitShares PTS / Re: China seems to have taken an interest in PTS...

They are waiting for the date 2-28,perhaps.and,They are expecting the higher price than current.I don't know if I have say it clearly in English.

and are you clear about their expectation of the price after 28/2 ?

In short, the snapshot on 28th feb will be used for bitshares xt, and bitshares xt snapshots will be used for other bitshares chains.
And other dacs will use other pts/ags snapshots.
Is my understanding correct?

General Discussion / Re: BitShares nomenclature

"Bitshares" stems from PTS and AGS, whereas bitshare X is the name of  that trade system?BTS=XRP, BTS X=ripple, am I correct?

Uhm i dont think so, think of bts as the generic "i" in every apple product, so insgeqd of ipod, iphone iblabla, we have bts pts, bts ags, bts bex etc
So bts is more like a "trademark" thing now. When someone hears the word bts in the future he would immediately think of i3 and its range of products.

My sources tell me that Nxt is starting to encourage clones like we will.

Hi Dan, I dont doubt the reliability of your sources, however there have been trolls targeting Nxt and all those so called clones are nothing but trolls haha. I have stakes in both bts and nxt, so i follow the thread quite closely ;)

The market will introduce a new chain and version 2 of bitshares will use a prediction market to set the rate.

Why dont we integrate a prediction market into bts in the first place?
