General Discussion / Re: Bytemaster and Mumble - A Proposed Solution
« on: March 01, 2015, 02:08:51 am »
So basically you propose BM continue doing the Mumble hangouts but from now on they wouldn't be recorded? But then people that miss the chats will come on the forum and ask what was said and things will be misquoted leading to more confusion plus what's really stopping anyone from recording if they wanted to? Not a good idea in my opinion.

I prefer BMs idea to just do the BitSharesTV stuff to be honest.

[Statement] "bter domain name has been sold, priced at $ 10,000" for the rumors. Think about it a little difficult to identify the stupid rumors, we deal with the past few days have been actively millions of CNY and USD withdrawals, cash amount is reduced to $ 1, to ensure that all information is correctly filled withdrawals less than 24 hours to arrive, how can we will order 10,000 dollars (about 60,000 CNY) to sell the domain name, on foot? CNY mention is progressing well, we will soon deal with virtual currency withdrawals."

Google translation not helping haha are they saying its been sold for 10k or that's just a rumour? I guess they just denying a rumour, 10k is cheap even for this crap exchange

Definatelly need a 'security' page or something in this web wallet somewhere explaining what security measures are in place and what risks there are.

Yes this is being worked on I believe, see here: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=11840.0

www.cryptofresh.com allows you to buy items with BitAssets, Maybe some other sites too, I'm not entirely sure myself.

Wow amazing job! I'm without a computer at the moment but I was able use my Galaxy S3 mobile to access the web wallet and register via the faucet. Only took 2 minutes! I am massively impressed and can finally begin recommending BitShares to friends once its out of beta. Now the marketing teams really have something to promote!!  +5%  +5%  +5%

Good move I think. Blog post written with an unnecessary bearish review of the current BitShares situation though.

Also its spelt Bitshares everywhere instead of BitShares  :-*

Same problem happened for me yesterday on Xbox 360 internet explorer when visiting bitshares.org

Edit: still happening.

4500 is a reasonable bottom for now, BTS been way oversold in my opinion, I picked a little up at 3500, now I just need my coins back from BTER to feel happy about this rise, looking promising :)

General Discussion / Re: Bter withdrawal
« on: February 22, 2015, 02:10:25 am »
Besides the threat of hackers, what is the danger of leaving my bitshares on BTER? I'm earnings one full BTS about every 20 days in interest.  Do you think they will go bankrupt after all the withdraws and I'll loss them if I don't 'take the money and run'?

Pat

The threat of hackers is enough reason not to leave BTS on the exchange. The tiny interest they pay is certainly not a substantial enough incentive either. Seems they are pretty much bankrupt already and looking to sell the site. Your funds should be safe though but take the money and run.. If you can ha

I'm waiting to withdraw my BTS and hopefully the windows version Light Wallet will be out soon enough that I can store them there.
