What sm are you suing? And you ares sure that a higher cm gives better performance?

What's gpuv2, gpuv3, gpuv4 and gpuv5?

Which commit is it based on?

EDIT: Doesn't work for me on a GTX 560 ti

New launcher should offer huge improvements to users of multiple graphic cards. The new launcher saves settings

GPU-Z shows that 1GH miner uses 880-900 MB. arOpenCL uses 288 or 544 or 1056 MB.
Video card with 1 GB memory can not work with 1056 MB option.
My card is a low profile HD 6510 1GB, CPU AMD FX-8150.
arOpenCL 1056 = failure.
arOpenCL 544 or 288 = 43 cpm
1GH miner = 175 cpm
arOpenCL is 4x slower than 1GH

It's a WIP, it will get there sometime

EDIT: I have found a potential bottleneck, it'll be fixed soon

Great work.  I am running on 3 r9 290s at about 700 each.  I think possibly utilizing more memory might speed them up?  But please take that as feedback only as this is great.  Once you work out the kinks I will switch all my miners over to this and send a little donation your way.  Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the feedback, how much memory are you using ATM?

It's been released now

Thank you very much, tested on a HIS 7950 card, got 480c/m. But 1gh.com's mining tool gives  880c/m, my cpu is 2500k.

I know it's a bit slower atm but this is the first version, expect some improvements soon nut at least you don't have to wait for hours now to find blocks

Got it compiled, under testing

Done! Launch as soon as I get access to a computer with AMD GPU
looking forward to this, i'll test it out and compare it to the 1gh pool miner.  Will yours be usable on any pool?

It uses XPTv6 and I think only YPool supports that till now so I removed the -o switch but it could be added easily again in future

ok I assume the same reasoning as for the openCL miner - I'll eat my hand or hat or ear or whatever Mike Tyson wants me to eat!

edit - Eat my words!

I will bring back the '-o' option but don't complain if it doesn't work with all pools

Why not AVX2 for SHA256 as well?

Why bother?

Won't improve anything?

There are 4-10 hash collisions per group of 2^23 SHA512 hashes that have to be pushed through SHA256.  Making SHA256 faster would make 1/1,000,000th of the computation faster. :-)
??? ::) :o :)

Requirements:
Nvidia GPU with Compute capability higher than 20
CPU with AVX/SSE4 (Not tested with AMD)
Latest Nvidia driver

I have only included the binaries for now, I will release the source code after I get a donation of 10 PTS. The miner mines 500 rounds for user and then 15 rounds to support developer. Default -o is ypool.net. Use highperf if you have more than 1.2 GB of GPU memory. Please note that SLI support is not tested yet.

Usage:
arCUDAminer.exe -u archit.pts_1 -p x -m avx -g 2

-g User only if more than 1 GPU eg.2
-u Worker
-p Worker password
-m avx or sse4(lower caps)

Why this?
  • 64 bit
  • extremly small fee
  • Point to your pool of choice

How much you donate can be seen from the live workers page on ypool
If you get a malloc error, make sure you have more than 800 MB of free video memory
