We decided to make this song available for free so that it can spread around as much as possible. All that we ask is that if you like it, please share it! And if you can, please send us a tip!  We realize that it doesn't mention Bitshares specifically but it does focus on the Blockchain as the real breakthrough and it does mention DAC's...hopefully you can connect with it and share it!

We touched upon some of what the Bitcoin 2.0 technologies can do....welcome to the blockchain!

Enjoy!

Might be a way to make some extra money and support BitUSD:

As a delegate you would get BTS every 101 blocks. I believe it is 50 BTS for each block. There are roughly 180BTS paid per delegate per hour. Perhaps that could be sufficient to cover the cost of producing it.

Maybe it would...how would I arrange the voting process?

OP could work on BTS specific one and ask to be a delegate to produce it.

how would that work?

Would love to see something specific for Bitshares. I know I'd be willing to throw some tips your way.

I feel you...it's just rather time, effort, and money consuming to make a song like this professionally.  I tried to make it as all-encompassing of the crypto-space as possible...(focusing on the blockchain technology, spoke about DAC's, etc..)

I could go change every "bitcoin" for "bitshares" but would it be worthwhile for anyone involved? haha (I'm actually more of a Bitshares supporter than Bitcoin itself....I see Bitshares as Bitcoin 2.0)

Maybe we need to consider electing a few media delegates that are funded for their time and efforts in promoting BitShares?

I think it would be pretty interesting to see a mixtape that teaches some of the core concepts of blockchain tech / BitShares via the lyrics, with contributions from all of the musicians in the community. You could probably get the Bitcoins and Gravy podcast to feature it as well as PeerTracks when they launch.

This is brilliant!  And one of the most concise explanations of the why/what is blockchain for those unfamiliar with it that I've seen.  Cool to see it put into song!

What does CNN, DA and this song have in common? They all decided to focus on "The Blockchain."
