I'm not opposed to it at all.  I would hang out there and learn as much as I could.  I wouldn't have much to give in return though, so its not at all up to me.

The reason I suggested gitter is that it keeps up to date with the PRs and commits on the github page and its got a direct upload link to the page. Is there a reason folks are opposed to the idea of Gitter? I like IRC, but I just think Gitter is superior.

I totally forgot about the irc channel.  I will have to make it a point to log in more often.  While I could by no means help vor0220 in many ways it would be better than trying to coordinate things through the forum.

There is also an IRC channel on freenode that could need some love ..

Why does Bitshares/Graphene not have a gitter? It seems that it would benefit immensely from having a gitter room where people could openly ask technical questions in real time and be responded to with the help of the community rather than communicating via slow updating forum pages.

Here's a page: https://gitter.im/home

I hope you all consider it. I think it would be a great in addition to the mumble server.
